Skoshbox is a monthly subscription service where you receive a box filled with Japanese snacks & candy in the mail. It only cost $12 (free shipping & US only), but you only get sample-size candy- no filled sized candy.

Here is the site:

I wanted to know people's thoughts on this, if it's worth the money & if anyone was interested in it.

I only found out about this recently, and I was quite excited to know this service existed. Japan has some interesting candy that I've always wanted to try. Unless it's Pocky, I'm unfortunately unable to getting Japanese candy & snacks. I'm definitely interest in getting a monthly subscription, but the fact that it's only sample-sizes is a turn off. Is around 10 sample-sized snacks & candy worth $12?

Might be worth it at least for a few boxes considering you'll easily spend more than that just on shipping if you try to import full size versions. At least this way you can find what you like so you are not wasting your money on things you might dislike, should you decide import.

Huh. That's quite interesting.

If you really wanna try some Japanese candy, paying for one month couldn't hurt. It seems they're already on the March box, but it would be a cute little Valentine's gift if you're into that sort of thing. I probably wouldn't pay for it EVERY month, though.

10 samples seems an okay amount for $12 considering the novelty of the product, shipping costs, and the niche market it serves.
