It's pretty safe around here, though there were a few cases of attempted sexual assault around the area lately. Even though I'm a guy, it's a bit worrying.
The roads are pretty safe though.

You're more likely to die from hypothermia or car accidents here, than from crime.I've made myself a promise that I go nowhere that requires me to wear body armor or to carry automatic weapons. You never know though, when you simply might be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Pretty safe. My neighbors on either side of me are prominent, older members of a dominant biker gang. In fact, one is the leader. They're actually fairly nice people, and the gang leader is even a tsundere towards his wife's cats. When we moved in, they warned us of how troublesome the area can be and made it clear that they have our backs if anything should happen. Johnstown is fairly quiet, despite it all. A few robberies down the road, a couple of fires, and some idiot who tried to run from the police by running into the gang leader's yard.... Failing miserably. Cop got him, fortunately for the fool, because "Mr. Biker" was pretty quick to come out to "greet" the trespasser. That's about it. Generally, the worst that happen are local rabbits being caught and eaten by my neighbor's cats, and the occasional douche bag who steals from people's front porches. One of those little bastards made off with our rocking chair this past Christmas.

It depends which part of my town I go to. I don't wanna get shot by some gang member or a bunch of idiots.

Aside from that, I can't stay in my house for too long and I'll probably lose my damn mind. I actually like having my freedom.

Not much, aside of the huge cancer causing burning nuclear fireball that radiates it's beams consistently and blinds us if we try to look at it or it's reflection.

I don't live in a war-torn place like Iraq, so I don't see how it is life-threatening for me to leave my house.
