What exactly happens when you try to load it?

It's very random, Sometimes the video will play sometimes it wont. Sometimes video will play for a min or two and then stutter like crazy and freeze or play for 10 min and do the same thing. Sometimes the video will just stop working all together and then the video will not play anymore, no matter what browser I use. Usually what happens is the video stays black and sometimes will load minutes later other time it will just never play. This started happening about 2 days ago. There really is no rhyme or reason for any of it. It feels like I am on a VPN being routed to a server not in the country. I've talked to support through e-mail and sent them some info they requested from a previous e-mail but have not heard from them since last night.

There's plenty having the same problem. Though if nothing in their support email works for you, then it'll fall under their outdated flash player and their lack of CDN servers. Nothing you can do then until they update this mess. Don't worry, I experience the same problem pretty much every day if not every other day.

It's just strange that I suddenly started having this issue 2 days ago when in the 4 years I been watching content on this site I never had a issue. At least the Roku app is stable enough for me.

If you are viewing on a computer, you don't need anything other than a browser with Adobe Flash installed (which is included if you are using Google Chrome or IE under Windows 8.1).

If you are on a Android or iOS device, you will need the appropriate app to view programming. Both apps are free.

If you are on iOS, you also need to be aware that CR defaults to hiding some programs marked as "mature content", and you'll need to change that in your Video Preferences here on the site to see everything.

I did change settings to see mature content, but didn't do anything. Also can't see vids in my kindle fire HDX with JavaScript enabled too. I don't know what version of Linux is used.

As TheAncientOne indicated, you need to use the app to watch on devices. Are you using the CR app on your Kindle HDX? You can't just use the browser to watch CR video on devices.

Are you saying you are also having trouble watching videos on a computer running Linux?

The mature content settings don't affect your general ability to watch CR videos. it's only relevant if you are seeing some, but not all of the videos available in your region.

The Kindle Fire HDX uses a customized version of Android (which itself is based on Linux).

The reason you can't view videos in the web browser is because the web browser (as with other installations of Android) lacks the Adobe Flash player, and Adobe no longer supplies it for Android.

If you want to view CR videos on the Kindle Fire HDX, you will need to install the Crunchyroll app.

oh ok. my computer runs windows xp and I still get ordered to download app. I also have iPad 1 but it can't fully install da app. I thought it would find a older version of app since I saw FAQ from 2010.

On Windows, you shouldn't get any prompt to download an app. If you have Flash installed or a browser that incorporates it (like Chrome), the videos should just play. Can you post a screen shot of what you see when you try to play a video on your XP computer.

Instructions for how to take a screen shot in XP if you don't know how:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-xp/help/setup/take-a-screen-shot

Unfortunately, the current CR app requires at least iOS 6.0, which rules out the original iPad. Unless the older version is offered somewhere in the App Store, you are likely out of luck there.

There may be one hope for your iPad, but it seems a bit of a long shot:
https://sites.google.com/site/appleclubfhs/support/advice-and-articles/app-store-downloading-older-versions-of-apps-ios

Even this would be dependent upon CR not making any changes that would render the earlier app version incompatible with CR's current video streams for iOS devices.

YouTube provides an HTML5 player.

Go to the following page to confirm if you have Adobe Flash player installed and functioning properly:
https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Mozilla does not install the Adobe Flash Player by default.

If you are prompted by Adobe instead to download and install it, I suggest unchecking the box (usually in the middle section of the screen) that opts you in to installing any additional software such as McAfee Security Scan.
