Anime really only helps my boredom, but if I would say silly comedy anime always makes me feel good (Baka to Test, Ben-to, D-Frag, and ect.)

I don't know about being my "Savior in life", but anime has impacted my personality greatly since I started watching it, it's made me think outside of the box, and given me a more positive outlook on life and towards myself.(Gurren Lagann, FMAB, One Piece, Trigun, Monogatari, and Fate/Zero to name a few.)
But overall anime is first and foremost entertainment for me.

Not really a savior but it sure is a good form of entertainment... Until after I've finished a good series. I hate this empty depressing feeling I get after I finished a good anime. I want more of what does not exist.

Savior is definitely going too far, but there have been good things that have come of me watching certain anime.

I have yet to see anything in anime that would profoundly alter my life.

It'd be cool if I did though, so I won't rule out the possibility of it maybe happening at some point.

Honestly, savior does mean saving someone. although, I didn't realize It went that far. I had this confusion before I made this forum, that savior had something to do with religion. So i'm basically having a hard time knowing that savior consider to just save someone as In help, or does it have something to do with religion, or both.

To me, it can be both but it usually means in a religious context.

Not only anime is enjoyable, and fun to watch, but they've also helped me throughout life. Yes life can be a challenge. Life can be really annoying. However, when It comes to most of the anime I've watched, they've literally helped me escape from my depression. Not all animes can be saviors, but why not share what you think. Do you think some or most animes are your saviors? Are they? or No? feel free to tell us why.

I see what you mean, I went through a bit of a depression after High School for various reasons. Then someone recommended Clannad to me. Needless to say for the next three days of marathoning both Clannad, and After Story I had bawled my eyes out so much I felt better. Right after the week long depression Clannad gave me of course.
