I was just wondering how Harry Potter should of ended. Did you like it? Should of Harry ended up with Hermione? Who should of lived and died? ETC? Just wondering. I just don't like how half of the good guys died. What's your opinion?

I would have liked Harry to end up with Hermione, but I don't think that him ending up with Ginny was a mistake or anything. I feel liek the ending was fine

Honestly the ending was fine, i wish we had seen more of the other characters though instead of finding out about them through interviews, which I find to be annoying and I don't usually consider things said in interviews actual canon even if the author claims it is. Therefore, Luna/Rolf Scamander (a character we never met) isn't canon for me.

I love Harry/Ginny as a pairing, and I hate Harry/Hermione because to me they were siblings. If she had set it up differently, I could see it happening, but she didn't. That doesn't mean I don't read Harry/Hermione ff, but the closer a ff is to canon, the less I like it. Harry and Ginny is a great couple, but JK probably did need to add more development of Ginny as a character. I don't think she's a whiny brat, maybe before her first year she was, but there is something wrong with her if she stayed like that even after what she went through.

I do agree that the Ron/Hermione pairing is kind of odd and might not work, but it is 19 years later in the epilogue I believe which means that everyone has matured, which means that Ron has matured. That was the main blockage, that Ron wasn't mature and Hermione was. Time can fix that. Of course, most people never fully mature, but I think he would have matured enough to marry Hermione and not drive her nuts. Generally I do like reading ff because they tend to handle all of that far better than JK Rowling did.

JK Rowling created a wonderful universe, but she wasn't necessarily the best writer, I've found at least one ff series that I like better than canon. I know without it we wouldn't have ff, but so many plot holes...

I think the one thing that disappointed me the most was the name Albus Severus. He forgave both of them. In canon, it does kind of make sense that he forgave Dumbledore, I just know that after finding out what Dumbledore did in his youth and having gone through what I did because Dumbledore forced me to stay with relatives that hated me... I would not want to name a child after him. And Severus... sure Snape did turn out to be a decent and brave character, but after what he put Harry through... I don't think that one act of giving his memories is enough to erase 6 years of torment. For more on my full opinion of Snape, see the 'Snape Hate thread on here.

I do have more opinions, but I happen to have to go right now. I may add more later.
