I agree with you. You couldn't have stated it better.

To CR's general members:

I say this with all anime/manga series if it disappoints you then drop it, move on to something else that will. Maybe , one day you'll realize it isn't the source material that is causing that disappointment. Go find something that you can dive deep into. I mean there has to be a series that some of you members can only say good things about. Dive in.

My thoughts go something like this...

First: Thank GOD it is almost over... any more of this nonsense, and I think I may go insane. Disappointment after disappointment, and botched story telling will finally be over! I can finally just put the series to rest and pretend it is all a bad dream afterward. A shame I have to think that way, too, since Naruto was so damn good till after the Pain Arc where it was complete trash since (especially this damn overly long, horribly handled War Arc.)

Second: Hopefully the ending won't suck as much as I expect it to. My expectations are pretty low for a satisfying ending here. However, the last couple chapters have been pretty solid overall, so MAYBE it can still be saved. Although, I thought that many times after Naruto beat Pain, and all I kept getting since was more disappointment, so low expectations is better than high expectations at this point. Cause then I won't be as annoyed when it is completely stupid. :(

Yeah I have to agree with you Orga. The War Arc has just dragged on for sooooo damn long. At this point I'm only reading it just to see it to the end, because I have so much time invested over the years. No matter how it ends, I'll just be glad it ends.

I'll probably be on the vocal crowd of saying Good Riddance to the show and the Manga.

The story felt like it was dragging along at a snail pace and there were many really boring stories but of course were some good and some amazing story in there but because it was at a snail pace it was kinda meh.So he lost many fans along the way but gain many fans as well. Seriously though 15 years is way WAY too long for a manga series I mean 15 years just to tell one whole story is a bit excessive in my opinion. I did enjoy Naruto and I never really stopped reading it so it was an enjoyable manga series. Still 15 years is already way too much and hearing that it is FINALLY going to end and have a CONCLUSION is actually very good news. I can't handle this story being dragged any more there is just too many information and lore and story and twist and history to understand from the series I can't handle there being more information and lore and story and twist and history in the series any more I think he explained everything about the world of Naruto so lets just end it now. Well the only thing that can destroy 15 years of work is by having a unsatisfying ending with a bloody boring final arc. So don't screw this up and give us the Naruto vs Sasuke fight that EVERYONE has been wanting to see for like FOREVER and then end the series with answers not giving us more question or making us go "WTF WAS THAT?" Give us an ending that makes us feel satisfied and that it feels like it is over don't make us feel like crap and like nothing ever felt resolved. Hint don't screw it up like Katekyo Hitman Reborn or Soul Eater in which the ending had no resolve to it at all such as Reborn not showing the future of the group and made it felt like everything that happened to the main character didn't mean anything but soul eater goes further byleaving more question than answers and plot holes. Don't leave plot holes. Show their future. GIVE RESOLVE TO THE ENDING. Other than that it has been a good run. I am hoping for the best.

I haven't kept up with Naruto. I love the first part of Naruto up to Kakashi Gaiden - that is my favorite section of the series, and what I felt to be really enjoyable.

I dropped it a little bit into Shippuuden, but after it has fully finished, I'll pick up the copies from the library and finish reading the series though I don't like it like I love the first half.

Ah well. It is one of the most popular series ever, and it will be sad to see it end.

I still want Naruto to end up with Sakura though...Lol.

Naruto was a good story for a long time, was always quite inspirational, but indeed as long as it has dragged out, it's time for it to conclude, so the author is making a wise decision, but I also don't want to see it rushed either, and it would be nice to see a little bit of stuff after the war, like Hinata and Naruto's potential relationship, as well as Kurama and Naruto's developing friendship, that part is important to me, cause to me Naruto and Kurama are like inseparable parts of each other, Naruto has always been THE fox boy to me, that better not end on a bad note or that would just cast a dark shadow over everything for me. It was heart warming when the two finally began to break the ice.

I personally think that Naruto ending would be fine, as all good things come to an end. Except, I don't like the way things are going in the MANGA, SPOILER ALERT SCROLL UP IF YOU AIN'T CAUGHT UP since it looks like nothing is going to stop Madara from winning, and Naruto and Sasuke are dying.

Madara is so overpowered it's ridiculous.

No kidding. The Madara ownage seems to have just come out of nowhere. I understand that he was one of the most powerful shinobi to ever walk the world, but he was toying with the entire alliance --- a group that included Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, and Minato!
