You might not be, but most of us that frequent this thread think of this Fuuka before we think of ones from other series... After all, the manga is simulpublished here on Crunchyroll...

EDIT: However, I get where you are coming from... For the longest time, whenever I saw the "Free Anime Discussion" thread, my initial reaction would be, "That's an awfully open-ended thread... Oh, wait... never mind..."

Have I been hiding under a rock for this manga? Also for Suzuka and A town where you live? I love slice of life romantic manga's.

The Fuuka synopsis hooked me.

Fuuka is a great manga and decided to read it through in one go to catch up. Well........ frick the damn feels hit hard and I being the sap I am immediately cried at Fuuka's death. I too hoped that it was a dream sequence but gave up on that real fast. Plus, this last few chapters brought the feels back..... don't know how much I can take of the sadness. I want to continue but man, don't know if the heart strings can take anymore tension.

Tears....... As much as I wish it was a dream and Fuuka is very much alive, I can't keep reaching for it.

Such a strong and powerful chapter I seriously couldn't help but board the "feels" train again. Get the tissues and umbrellas ready people, you're in for a downpour.

Impressive! If it had just been Yuu or the band members who saw it it would have been one thing, but her family did too... I guess the rumored supernatural aspect came to fruition... Now can Yuu move on? Maybe with another girl named Fuuka? (I also like that Nico is going to mentor Yuu now. He impressed a pretty tough customer there.)

It is interesting that they will most likely be successful in filling the venue stated in their contract because of this Budokan concert, and they really have Koyuki to thank for it.

Nice to see the entire Akitsuki family together in the main manga and not just in the side chapters published in other magazines. Kind of surprised that there wasn't a cameo by someone from the Kirishima or Yura family (from A Town Where You Live). It would be nice to see the remaining character from Half & Half show up for a cameo sometime too, if she didn't look so much like Sara...

I hear ya buddy. I've got strong feels for some anime like Angel Beats, Clannad after story, When Marnie was there, to name a few. Though, Manga's never usually hit me as hard as their anime counterparts but Fuuka and Suzuka did,(Found out about Suzuka after reading Fuuka and going through this forum.) even though there isn't an anime for Fuuka, yet.

However, if they do decide to animate Fuuka, you can believe that the feels train will be to capacity when it does. I'm already tearing up thinking about.

Talk about a freaking baby here......

The only thing that makes me think this won't be an anime is the fact that they will be forced to create a whole bunch of original music to get the same effect. Plus at least four voice actors that can sing decently. That together can get pretty pretty expensive.

That may be true. Budgets normally make or break the concept of an anime and could be the case for Fuuka. I'm hopeful as recently, very popular manga had been translated to anime. Yamada-kun, Monster Musume, My wife is student council president, etc.

If they do animate Fuuka, you can bet I'll be jumping on it. Get the feels train going and watch Suzuka and then Fuuka marathon style. I'll have buckets ready when it begins to downpour.

Well, Seo did it. He managed to bring me back after killing off my favorite character. Fuuka is, once again, the first manga I look for on Tuesday and the one I look forward to reading the most... Though Yamada is a close second and the Negima! vibes from UQ Holder are so strong that it is gaining ground too...

This chapter is special, but it is truly the end of Fuuka Akitsuki as a character in the story I suspect. I do wonder if Fuuka Aoi will take on a larger role in the story or if she is a red herring?

Anyway, a great chapter
