I can't say how much I agree with this!

Well thank You! It's always great to see that Someone has the same feelings about different things as Yourself.

My all time favorite is Sekirei and I love it a lot but I definitely know the flaws in it. There's not much of an extended back-story which would be great and the characters can honestly be without the "large feminine features". The plot could go a little better but it's satisfactory to me. The anime of Sekirei is a little too sped up and not all the details of the manga make it in which it should, it would be better if it did. Plus the fights can be a little longer.

They have some flaws, but I love them for a reason. What is fiction without its discrepancies and flaws?

Since I don't believe in perfection, I will just act as if this is the closest to perfect (for me) a series can get.

Probably Neon Genesis Evangelion would hold this spot, with its fantastic symbolism, lovely mecha action, and great psychological effect. Something that will live on (again, for me) through the rest of time.

Personally I do find my favourite anime perfect! Or at least I did...

For me, Naruto really impacted my life. I actually got into all the anime and manga I love now through that one show! I accidentally came across episode 3 a decade ago and ultimately fell in love with it! Ever since then it has quite literally been my world. Over the next few years I took up drawing, bought manga style tutorial books, began editing AMVs, occasionally wrote fanfiction... I got into much more anime and bought a lot more manga too. Basically everything that makes me who I am today came from stumbling across Naruto years ago. Even my current college course is based off of those interests and talents I picked up over the years!

Naruto has been my ultimate escape and happiness. It has distracted me from real life and been the inspiration to push me through all I have endured and accomplished so far. Cheesy, I know...

The morals in Naruto really inspired me when I was growing up and I've never been so emotionally invested into characters and plot! I know many find the storyline far from perfect but to me it is, despite its imperfections!

Update: I'll always critique Naruto and be honest in my evaluation of its content, especially since the show's standard has deteriorated lately. But the feeling Naruto gave me is second to none - I'll always hold it in high regard!

Sometimes they can be, it all depends on your own personal viewpoint

I absolutely love Kuroshitsuji for the following reasons:

* amazing music for the opening and ending songs
* beautiful animation style and lots of amazing symbolism
* set in England, very rare for an anime series to be set outside of Japan
* Sebastian and Ciel are the sexist characters ever!
* interesting plot
* lots of sad moments and touching backstories for the characters
* comedic moments as well
* not too much filler
* little bit of fantasy thrown in, but not so much that it ruins the whole murder mystery theme

One way it could be better though! Pretty much every main character is likeable except Lizzie. She is so infuriating! Adds nothing to the plot! Whines the most out of everyone and has the most comfortable and care-free life out of all of them! Most annoying anime character I've seen yet!

Nothing is absolutely perfect, and my favorite shows are the least of all perfect. There are so many things wrong with them, but I still love them.

I watch alot of dark and bloody anime, and it kinda pisses me off when the writers have to go and brutally rape/murder/torture one of the main love interests

Some favorites of mine that really aren't that perfect: Fairy Tail, Gurren Lagann, Appleseed 2004. Most of the others are totally the absolute best though.
