When I think of weeaboos, I think of obnoxious teens who always shove their interests in anime in everyone's faces. They act childish both online and offline, and tend to overuse the XD emoticon. They say baka and desu unironically and wear half-assed cosplays in inappropriate places e.g. school. They think Caramelldansen is a Japanese song. The list goes on. Here's some of the shit that weeaboos do: http://weebstories.tumblr.com/

I always thought the term Weaboo was pretty stupid, but I had no idea how crazy people are when it comes to Japan haha, and I thought nothing could surprise me anymore. Thanks for the entertaining Tumblr link.

Ehh as long as Weaboos don't get annoying, like myself, they shouldn't trouble anybody. There's a good amount of Teaboos as well. They're like Weaboos except they have a bias for Britain instead of Japan

My friend showed me that the term is stretched to preferring Japanese cars over other cars also.

I don't understand this video. Also, I don't know why you think the video of Rachel and Jun is wrong , but to me she actually makes a good point of what's the point of using the word weeaboo. I mean what's the use of it? Only people are just going to use it to bully and bring people down right? So is that the right thing to do? Just destroy the things that we're interested in and give us a bad name? I don't think so! Also, the world is stupid, not just weeaboos. The word weeaboo is stupid.

To me a weeaboo has always been a person who is so obsessed with Japan and its culture that they receive a false, rose-tinted view that makes them believe the country is an infallible place that is without fault, and they are superior as a person for indulging in said culture. It's not uncommon that they'd become misinformed of Japan through anime, but much like how you wouldn't use an American cartoon to learn about America, doing the same with anime in reference to Japan generally isn't wise. They yearn to be something they're not, and in doing so often make a fool of themselves to both residents of their country and Japan, yet are completely unaware they're doing it and will attack people who call them out on it. Unfortunately it's mostly used incorrectly as an insult to people who have an anime avatar image or even express a like of anime in any form, so a lot of the time the people using the word are just judgemental dicks with a mindset of 'How dare you like something I don't', but I think that's more to do with the medium growing bigger as time goes on, and unfortunately unavoidable.

Weeaboos are generalized to people that just like watching anime or have an unhealthy obsession with it, a true weeaboo is being obsessed in Japanese culture and think its the best place in the world and try to "become" Japanese they also usually try to denounce their culture for no reason to become Japanese through just a thought that it is superior than others; they're also generallized to be learning japanese however, as the weeaboo hunter I am; learning japanese only isn't bad if you in the future need it for something such as a business like international one or Japanese based

TL:DR Weeaboos are people who think Japan is the greatest and want to be japanese
