I'm a fan of strategy games in general (haven't played Europa Universallis yet, though. It it good ?).

Some game I enjoy playing are:

- Total War
- Company of Heroes
- Sins of a Solar Empire
- XCOM
- Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War
- World in Conflict
- Wargame: Airland Battle
- Starcraft
- Warcraft
- Homeworld

If you don't mind oldschool games: I still enjoy civ2 and heroes of might and magic 3 (my all time favorite tbs games).

As for rts: although sc:bw was the best of all time, sc2 is now the front runner.

Honorable mention: Master of Orion 2

I never got a notification that anyone responded. I thought nobody was into this except for me. Turn-based strategy is fine by me. I wasn't aware that Might and Magic 3 was multiplayer.

Yes, Europa universalis 4 is good. If you liked 3, this one is better. Better graphics and some mechanic adjustments.

Heroes of Might and Magic III
Age of Empires II
Civilization IV
Lineage II (MMORPG; Castle Sieges)

I'm a tactician, not a strategist. I leave the strategy to other types of braniacs. I used to have a friend that I worked wonders with; he was the genius at offense (long term) while I was the genius at defense (short term).

If you are more of a strategy RPG kinda person, check out the Fire Emblem games, they're like one of my favorite strategy series of all time. And all the character arts in the games are awesome!
