Hi there! Since these serve more as announcements and don't generate a lot of separate discussion, I've consolidated your episode announcements into a single thread, so you can just edit it (and consequently "bump" it) when new episodes come out.

(If you'd prefer to create a separate post in this same thread to hold the earlier episode announcements instead of keeping them in the top post, that would be fine!!.)

I've been kind of on a podcast hiatus, but I'm planning to start listening more, and am looking forward to addiing yours to the mix!

Well darn, it's been ages and I've been meaning to comment here, but felt that to give a fair assessment I should catch up to the most recent podcasts--and given that I was kind of off and on in listening, that happens to be just now--and sadly I find that you have left the podcast so any feedback I leave here probably won't get back to fettman and luro--though I could copy it and pass it along. So, a lengthier-than-I-intended writeup anyway.

The main strength of the show from the very start has been that Comic Conversations is true to its name in that it really does present a conversation--and it stays pretty well focused on the subject at hand. Because it's a conversation I don't mind if it wanders off to something else briefly, especially since those wanderings are always quite brief.

Another strength is that it's both personal and informational. You all clearly know what you're talking about, and are enthusiastic about it. I like hearing the opinions and the banter, and you've got me excited to try a couple of things (although I'm kind of lame and admit that the actually reading stuff is still on the back burner--though I do have specific intentions of what to read).

But...the most awesome thing is Jack

Areas for improvement: (spoiler added to hide verbosity)

Conclusion
I know it looks like I wrote a shitload of negative stuff, but aside from my feelings about the recaps, they are not about the core of the show--which I still think is solid. The last couple of shows, the ones with just fettman and luro, seem to have lost their bearings a little and I think that does speak to a 3-person lineup being a better dynamic for this kind of show, so I'm hoping they will either woo you back, find a great other third, or get things smoothed out better with how to cover things on their own.

tl;dr: Jack is awesome. Core of show is good but should be shorter. Recaps should be shorter. Get rid of interstitial theme music and stop adding shit to the opening. I'll be reading some comics pretty much as a direct result of listening to Comic Conversations
