Is it possible if we can get an official statement as to why Kill la Kill has been delayed for several weeks now? I don't mind waiting a bit, but it would be nice to know what is going on.

I agree. I posted in a premium member thread that if they don't fix it, I'm cancelling my premium membership. Why pay for the simulcast when I could just get it subbed a couple hours later\many hours earlier than CR?

Yeah I agree, I like supporting anime, but when I can watch it sooner on a freeloader website than I can when I pay for it there's an issue.

Seeing how today's episode has been delayed not once but TWICE(which is a damned first for me. I have never before seen any episode get delayed twice on CR) I think we do need an official explanation. One beyond the vague "production issues". I know it may cause problems with their licensing agreement, but this is getting out of hand.

These "production issues" that have been plauging several shows recently are getting a bit rediculous

I agree 100% with Gamefreak and Koda on what they said. A freeloader streaming site that I use for other anime not listed on CR already had Kill la Kill 18, but I'm going to wait and be loyal because I paid premium for the simulcast. As for Koda, I was pretty pissed off when they pushed it back ANOTHER 2 hours -_-

I think that the translators are either tied up with other work or not wanting to do it since they're not getting paid enough, etc.

Official statement or not, I know that this is all UTTER BULL CRAP and I hate it. I blame all internet pirates and all those who use their sites.

I was about to say, I think it's a translation issue, but it's still really awful that I'm having to resort to a torrent to get my fix instead of getting what I paid for when I'm supposed to get it.

There weren't any problems for at least 15 episodes, so what gives now? You're better than this, CR. Step it up.

I was so pumped to watch the episode and it gets delayed for another two hours???

I guess that's what I get for actually trying to stay up for one of these past midnight simulcasts. Lame

I just checked Daisuki, and it looks like the English subbed episode 18 isn't up there either. Granted Daisuki hasn't had the best track record with the Kill la Kill simulcast, but this could at least mean that it isn't anyone but the Japanese company's (AKA Aniplex's) fault.

The issues didn't really start until this season. This season also happens to have the highest amount of simulcasts for CR. If it is an issue with the translators then I think CR either needs to hire more translators or decrease the amount of simulcasts they have going forward, because it is clear they've hit the breaking point in the translator to simulcast ratio, if that is indeed the issue.

You're going to blame fansubs for Crunchyroll's production issues?

Btw, why even call it a simulcast if its already aired in Japan?

if its a translation issue maybe they should just do what illegal sites do at this point and rip it off from another site
