I pay crunchy to save harddrive space, and watch shows which i normally would not bother downloading, but for simulcast its nice when crunchy can keep up with torrents

This is truly pathetic. I use CR so that I don't have to go through the hassle of downloading torrents. I don't care about the legality; this site is just easier. However, I've been thinking about cancelling my subscription and really figuring out how to torrent. The fansub version of KLK episode 18 has been available for torrent for 8 hours (since 8pm CST; it is now almost 4am CST). This delay is unprecedented and very frustrating for one of the most popular shows of the season. Get it together, CR

eh just torrent stuff if its super late and you were counting on watching it right away, otherwise cr is worth it, can watch previous seasons good shows you didnt bother watching, shows from back in the day, etc

That's odd, because (Insert Link Here) the episode page says it should be available for you right now. Something's fishy here.

I'm from Australia and I don't see it either.

What I think you saw, was 'Audiences in Australia and New Zealand can now stream Kill la Kill! Enjoy~!'. Since (I think) you don't know about the streaming of Kill La Kill for Australia and New Zealand. Since from the beginning till about episode 7-9ish, we had to watch Kill La Kill on Madman's website, since CR didn't stream to us. But a leak caused for Aniplex to pull Madman's streaming.

Basically, when it says that Kill La Kill is now available to Australia and New Zealand, it means that we can finally steam it on CR. Daisuki also streams Kill La Kill for AUS and NZ, but I personally find that website a little hard to use.

Have a look on episode 17's page

Update 2: The countdown has been hidden as we don't know how much longer to expect. We will make the episode available as soon as we are able to. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience.

See? We have an update. But yeah I agree; its bad that the pirates get their kill la kill out hours before crunchyroll

That doesn't sound like its a problem on Crunchyroll's end. If it was, they'd be able to at least give an estimate.

I mean, come on, guys. We went through this drama two weeks ago, and people kept trying to explain that this isn't an issue on CR's side, that it's coming from factors outside their control. So stop taking the easy way out and blaming CR and be patient. I mean, it's a 25 minute episode of anime. I woke up early today to watch before I had to go to class, but not being able to watch Kill la Kill isn't going to hurt me in any way.

Thank you, iblessall, I could not have said it better myself. Yeah, I'm disappointed KlK is not up yet, but I'm not going to blame CR when I know it's not their fault it is delayed.

Also, please, KlK torrents are illegal downloads and should not be used to compare to a legal streaming service that supports the industry. I'll happily wait to watch KlK when it is uploaded later on CR, as there's no excuse for me to steal it to have a few hours sooner.

Yes Crunchyroll. You need to offer some more communication about what's really going on to your paying members.
It's not just about Kill La Kill, this is a service.
We give some and you have to give some on your end as well.

when i read threads like this, i just think about how it portrays a negative stereotype to the outside world and how they view people that like anime.

Stop acting like this only happens within the anime community.
Consumers demanding at least more forms of communication regarding issues happens often in other places too, like in the gaming community.

I'm not acting and it was never said that it only happens in the anime community. I'm just saying it's furthering a negative stereotype of the community. They might have reasons as to why they aren't addressing it, for one it could be their relationship they have with a company and knowing they rely on a unique company with a service they need. From a bussiness perspective if the company is renowned, it's not wise to bash on them and burn bridges by saying "we couldn't have this at so-and-so a time because of *insert scapegoat here*..."

It really isn't Crunchyroll's issue. Not sure why there is an issue with the English subs but it must be from Aniplex which is especially cheeky considering their tweet yesterday:

Aniplex USA [email protected] 15 hours ago
It's Aniplex Thursday! Who's ready for New Episodes of Kill la Kill, Samurai Flamenco and Silver Spoon USA. http://fb.me/6nSOm1czP

You can watch it in German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese however on Daisuki.... or without subs!
