"Where Heroes Are Made"
The walls shine with the matte white color that they were. The metal smooth, but still strong. Bracewell Academy is the finest military academies for people looking to become a Sentinel or Crimson Valor. It has six training halls, and two medical wards. These medical wards are equipped with all of the equipment needed to make someone an Elite Human. Those who attend Bracewell Academy are very disciplined, but very skilled. Bracewell Academy is in Sentinel territory, on Earth.

As you walk in through the large front doors, you see the memorial wall. This wall was filled with names of those who helped the war effort, the academy, or research largely. At the top of that list, the name "Nathan Thorne" is printed in large white letters. "The first ever Elite Human." You think to yourself. What you are here for is up to you, are you teaching a class, running combat simulations, doing research, or meeting up with an old friend? Who knows?

"Major Vega, I want you in my office in five minutes." Nathan said in his hard tone that he had always spoken in. "Yes, sir!" He got in reply. "Captain Sanders, congratulations on that promotion, I hope to see you in battle one day." Nathan congratulated as he walked through the front doors of Bracewell Academy, it was expected of him. As Project Epsilon progressed it eventually became the Spectre Program. Normal soldiers who showed extreme skill were offered to become a Spectre. The training was hard, but it would pay off in the end. Nathan was running the Spectre Program, but getting a meeting with Nate would prove to be challenging for anyone. If you were looking for him, you could usually find him on the field or in a combat simulator.

Nathan walked down the smooth hallways of Bracewell towards his office, he greeted those he knew with a simple handshake and a small "Good to see you." To those below him, or who he didn't know, he saluted and responded with "At Ease." Nathan didn't feel like he was someone who needed to be saluted or honored. To him, it was just a job and he wasn't a hero. The lives he saved were because it was what he should have done. Nathan continued walking down the hallways and ended up in his office. He took a seat and relaxed for a moment, it had been a while since he could relax. "I might run some combat sims in a few minutes." Even when relaxing Nathan couldn't stay out of combat for long.

After a few moments Major Vega walked in and saluted Nate. "Sir, you requested my presence?" Major Vega asked in an uneasy tone. When Nathan asked to see someone he didn't really know, it usually meant that he had good news or bad news. It was usually bad news. "At ease, Major. I wanted to meet with you because Bracewell Academy wants you to become a teacher, and train the new recruits." Nathan said as Vega relaxed and sighed in relief. "It will be a challenge, handling groups of recruits, but I bet you could handle it." Nate added. "Yes, I could handle that, I was actually about to put in a teaching application." Vega responded. "Okay then, I'll give word to the Bracewell Teaching Board and you'll be reassigned shortly." Nathan said, as he began to type on his office laptop. "You are dismissed." Nathan added.

Vega walked out relieved and slightly excited for his new position. Nate wrote an email to the Executive of the Bracewell Teaching Board stating that Major Vega would gladly accept the position. Nathan knew Vega would be a good teacher, and he knew he was ready. "Only a few more meetings today, then I can run some sims." Nathan said as he sat back. "Man, I never was fit for a desk job. combat is where I was born to be."

Nathan receives an email from Sentinel Command stating that they picked up a transmission from Coldth, and that a Class-L Akrid has been spotted. Nathan gets up and heads to the armory swiftly. As he puts on all of his gear, Nathan sends out a message to the rest of Reaper squad. "All Reaper units, meet me in the hangar. Osprey 21-G" Nathan sends the message and heads to the hanger. As he nears the Osprey he sees the rest of his fireteam, geared up and ready to go. "Sir!" They all say as the salute Nate. "Get us to Coldth. Find the source of the transmission." Nathan says, he knew what Class-L was, and he knew CV would need help. The Osprey spins up and flies through the Dimensional Rift Device*
