Sorry if this has already been addressed a lot. I tried looking it up but couldn't find any answers.

I just downloaded the app yesterday on my HTC EVO.

I'm wondering if there is a more efficient method for looking up your Show and episode than scrolling through all of them alphabetically and waiting for each section to load.

Maybe I'm missing the search function somewhere. Can someone help me find it?

No search function in the app, but do you set up your /home/queue using a (separate) browser, whether on a PC or the android device? The app does have a way to directly access your queue once you add shows to it.

Sooooo what you're (CR) really saying is... not only is there no Search function, one shouldn't hold one's breath waiting for such a feature to be added anytime within the foreseeable future. Got it.

Shall I also then assume it would be moot to request the inclusion of a "Completed series" identifier, which -I imagine- would work in conjunction with Members' queues, be put on the Upgrade Team's agenda?

CR has a very small staff, perhaps 30 people?, only one of which is an android programmer. The mods are all essentially volunteers who just happen to really like the place (as I do). They aren't a big operation like Hulu or Netflix, so new features don't happen for months, sometimes longer, certainly not overnight. The reason I answered the way I did was to point out that there can often be other ways to partially serve some pressing needs, maybe just not in the way you had hoped for.

Having said that, it's not beyond possibility that additional functionality may get worked into the next release along with the HD that they released recently for the Ouya. They won't announce anything very far ahead of time though, unless it's almost ready to release. I'm sure the premature Vita announcement has come back and bitten them, and revisions to the Roku app have been submitted twice now. The first time it was rejected, and Bjaker told us about that. There hasn't been any word though on how the second submission has fared, other than speculation.

They aren't closed to suggestions. You just won't get a lot of immediate feedback about if they plan to implement anything or when. The general place for suggestions is /forumcategory-391026/suggestions-feedback. I submitted a queue summary suggestion thread there, which would also address your series completion issue in a more general way (history could just be another queue you could control yourself). There is also a thread for forum improvements, and one for premium members to suggest what shows and manga you might like to see added.

There used to be a (website-only) watchlist before the queue, some people liked it, others not so much. The focus now is on shows available here, not so much on anything that might be available on other sites. The watchlist did have a couple features lost when they replaced it with the queue (sharing with others, completed series), but it really was quite limited in scope, and very manually controlled.

If you want to track your complete watch history of shows, provide ratings, etc, no matter where you watch them (or how) two better places for that are myanimelist.net and hummingbird.me. Perhaps CR will incorporate partial watchlist functionality back, perhaps not, but even if so, I'd bet it would be limited to only the shows that they host themselves.

They just reached the 50 mark not long ago:
