I'd watch them in the order they were released. Chronologically, it makes sense as well but I feel that starting with Bakemonogatari gives you that central hub around which the rest of the storyline is structured. Things just fall into place and you go "OHHHHhhhhh! That's what happened!"

Also, when watching, make sure you're in a dark, comfy environment, not distracted by other people or tasks. Have a nice drink to chill with and nothing more. I am really fond of the wordplay and the colored scenes and flashing backgrounds. I'm not fluent in Japanese but I have a decent understanding of Chinese characters and some of their meanings so some things are like WTF HOW DID HE THINK OF THAT.

The metahumor and wordplay and lots of other things demand that you be engaged in watching each episode in Bakemonogatari. It's not like Naruto or Bleach or One Piece where you can skip through 10 minutes of flashbacks and shave off 5 minutes by not pausing and going to the restroom. You'll want to pay attention. But it's well worth it. I've watched some episodes while drowsy and tired and it just didn't feel right. I went right back to watch them again and got something out of each episode.

So if I wanted to watch these in the order of when they were released, is this correct?

1. Bakemonogatari
2. Nisemonogatari
3. Nekomonogatari
4. Monogatari Series 2nd Season
5. Hanamonogatari
6. Tsukimonogatari

..and then Kizumonogatari was a movie that was never released? But otherwise that's the end of the Monogatari series after Tsuki?

Yes, just don't forget that you need to watch the last three episodes of Bakemonogatari elsewhere since they aired online or something, so Crunchyroll never got them.

Also, I would recommend watching Nekomonogatari first. Since it's a prequel it's awkward to watch it no matter what point you do it at. So might as well get it out of the way first at the point it would make the most sense, even if Bakemonogatari has slightly superior character introductions.

The Kizumonogatari movie will be released...eventually. It's the ultimate prequel to the series and it actually makes the story a bit more interesting to start at a point after so many major things happened.

So I know Tsukimonogatari just came out. Aside from the movie are they any known plans (or rumors) for more Monogatari?

Don't watch in chronoligical story order,
Watch it in release order.
there is a reason shows like this are released in certain way.
So you can have the enjoyment of realizing stuff for your self

bakemono
nisemono
nekomono
monogatari 2nd

I hate preqiles and they piss me off if ive seen the parts that come after because there is no mister in them to the story plot any more and that pisses me off so there are people like me who need to watch the chronoligicak story order to get enjoyment out of watching said anime (if i watch it in release order and there are preqiles i end up dropping the anime i was just watching because its now boring and perditable.)

It's the latest thing, and it's the beginning of Final Season, so it'd be the last thing watched.

Chronologically it takes place during the events of Monogatari Season 2. If you notice when watching it there's some large time gaps between some of the arcs, particularly during the Fall. And that's where Owarimonogatari falls into.

So going from a purely chronological standpoint the series so far would be:

Nekomonogatari
Bakemonogatari
Nisemonogatari
Monogatari Season 2: Mayoi Jiangshi arc
Monogatari Season 2: Tsubasa Tiger/Shinobu Time arcs
Owarimonogatari (at least so far)
Monogatari Season 2: Nadeko Medusa arc
Monogatari Season 2: Hitagi End arc
Tsukimonogatari
Hanamonogatari

I don't recommend watching it this way though. Just stick to broadcast order for the most part. (I only say for the most part, because I don't think it matters at which point you watch Nekomonogatari).

But yes. tl;dr just follow the advice of the person above me and watch Owarimonogatari last lol.

Nah, Nekomonogatari is better watched just before second season. It acts as a great prologue to Hanekawa's conclusion story at the beginning of second season. I think it would feel very out of place if you watched it first as you are meant to watch it knowing its eventual conclusion.
