As mentions you could just stop, but why not try better time management. It will get you back on track plus you'll get a better grip once your out of school.

I work 40hrs a week on a night shift and i get my shows and reading done without losing anything( sleep, gaming, social ,etc...)

No Excuses!!!

Go to the library or any other place where you can study without having anime right next to you.

This. A lot of it , for me, was association, I have a good set up in my study, but I play a lot of games and watch anime in there, so when I first started university, I naturally used the study for my work, but found I was so easily distracted because of what I associate my study with.

You need to find yourself a space that you do not associate with anime, like, as NuDimon says, the college library

I know, we should make an anime out of this forum thread. Most likely the question will not be answered, however the original poster will end up with a harem that fights over him, his enemies will be foiled, and a 15% chance he will die by the end. But everyone in Crunchyroll will enjoy watching his pain unfold .

But if you really want to quit here is what you do. Every time you have an urge to watch Anime, you must make yourself watch "Grave of the Fireflies" All the way though. If after 10 days or so, you will either be cured or you will stick your head in an oven and hope to die. Either way, problem solved.

You could try removing yourself from the usual places where you carry out the ritual (watching anime). Go to the library to do your studies. I think you'll find that if you're at home or wherever you usually are, the temptation will win.

You could simply realize that all that anime will still be there when you're done with your schooling.

You like to use absolute words, but I'm pretty sure you should probably stop doing that. It cheapens them.

It's not "can't", it's "won't", not "need" but "want", and not "got hooked" but "enjoyed".

If you can still use the same sentence to explain your school issues, that's fine. But, my guess is you use those words because you want to tell yourself there is no choice.

Choice is scary, isn't it? Adults have many choices. So many, so scary, some remain children all their lives. They pretend they don't have them. They bumble though life, clinging to excuses so they won't have to take the blame for what they do.

That's a neat way of giving round about advice to his problem.
That outlook on life can make all the difference in an indirect manner.

Though the way you phrased it all makes people just brush off what you're saying lol
Since if they even bother to read it they will get pestered by that condescending attitude.

You can't, you're screwed buddy.
You just have to try and put limitations on yourself like i am, there's no way i can keep up watching 40 to 50 anime every season.

I'm probably sticking to mainly originals and getting more strict on manga adaptations, there's way too much out there that i want to see.
Just take a look at my anime list and note how it drastically goes up every season.

Why the heck would you want to do something like that? Manage your time better. Schedule what eps you want to watch or use your smartphone when you're taking a break. Write down or save a text file on what series you want to watch. The anime will always be there. Unfortunately, your bad gpa will as well. So fix that gpa and then reward yourself with anime.
