Anyone remembered that game Phantom Crash for the original Xbox? Such an overlooked game mainly because a lot of people had ps2 and Armored Core 3 at that time. The game itself was pretty cool it had an interesting premise like something out of an anime. People in the future battled with Mechs as a sport. The arenas were ruined Japanese district for some reason. I don't think they explained the world in the game. The story campaign was basically a slice of life story about of a few teenage combatants and what not. There was even a cyber music idol who sang some some of the Original songs for the game. That game had an amazing soundtrack which was the highlight of the game with mostly Indie bands from Japan of various genre. The game play was basically a Pseudo Sim Mech game with kinda like Grand Tourismo with Mechs. You basically played out out the game in daily grind to level up your Mechs and ranking. The main mechanics of the game which set it apart from most Mech games at the time was the stealth camouflage and the Mech A.I. There was so many possibilities of customization in that game to accommodate your play style. There was a sequel or a spiritual successor to the game for the ps2 but I missed out on it. mainly because it got rebranded with a different name. I always wish that they would remake this game with online multiplayer but that's just wishful thinking.

Man I played the hell out of this game. Loved it (still have it too)

It has been a long time since I played it though. I remember the black and white buttons being an issue for me. Just trying to remember what it was now lol. Were those tied to your shoulder weapons? Or were they the side strafing? I just remember when I had to hit those buttons I wasn't able to aim as well. Be nice to be able to play it on the 360. But I've heard it suffers from massive slow down issues on the 360 and is pretty much unplayable. Would be super enjoyable to play again using a 360 controller vs the giant monster original Xbox controller.
