I can't think of anything new at this time, but if I could, I'd team up with Kyoto Animation and adapt Shokugeki no Soma.
Just, food, and kyoani. nuff said.

Would be an adventure/fantasy/supernatural anime where the protagonists travel across dimensions like in Tsubasa.

I'm a big fan of locations and civilizations that don't resemble anything I've ever seen before.

I'd write a White Album 2-esque show with an ending that isn't depressing and doesn't totally lack faith in humanity.

A high-realism yuri drama/slice of life. A beautiful love story plus the struggles of living as a lesbian couple in modern Japan. To be honest, I think it'd be really hard to watch, but it could be glorious if done well.

I would make an anime of Ajin, ideally with big budget animation and a solid soundtrack. Ugh, just imagining the fight scenes... *drools*

If I could make an anime...I would turn the whole Final Fantasy 7 arc (Crisis Core, FF7,Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children)into a anime.
The only alterations I would make is adding blood, and all the female characters have big boobs. And there will be "hidden episode"(16.5) only available to people who preorder the collectors edition version of it.

Mine would be about a skinny insecure boy born with a bizarre blue marking on his palm. At the tender age of 15 boys are supposed to work at a guild of consisting of people that travel to distant planets to create colonies or to gather resources. On one trip him, a group of 20, and his father are sent to a large city on a life sustaining planet called jitou to deliver supplies to a central distribution center. On their way into a load out garage they hear a large explosion near a couple of tall buildings accompanied by a dense cloud of smoke. A small group of only 5 black clad people rampage viciously through the city destroying and killing everyone and everything in sight with seemingly never ending explosives. Confused as to what is going on the group begins unloading thinking it is only a spreading house fire. Several hours later one of them nears the group and slices through most of them mercilessly killing the boy's dad. The man stares at the boys horrified eyes then glances at the blue marking on his hands and whips out dual semi automatic guns the boy becoming paranoid looks at the man and in an instant he hears a high pitched whistle and is transported into a concealed crater outside of the city and hides in it. Not knowing what happened he sits on his knees and puts his hands to his head and begins to cry. Looking back at the large city reduced to collapsed buildings smoldering on the ground he sees a single hover craft exiting the city in a nonchalant manor. He thinks to himself ashamed of how weak and meaningless he was. He recalls the horrifying event of his father trying to defend him but having his blood spilled beside him. With his hands damp of tears he lowers them down to his lap and anger takes over him. He yells in anguish then punches the wall of the crater. Unexpectedly his blow creates a large impact and his hand begins to feel hot. He glances at his arm and realizes that his blue marking has started glowing. With his baffling new found power he seeks a way to identify the men and eventually get his revenge.

-A realistic anime series focusing on an actual interracial couple from America moving to Japan to start a new life. They go through joys and struggles of life to fit into the Japanese society.

Or

-Another realistic anime where a homosexual Japanese couple move to America to build a new life together. They'll endure the ups, downs, good, and bad side of life as they try to fit into the American lifestyle.

No stereotypes or too many cliches here.

I'd make a shounen anime where they main character is like a total stereotype in every single way. Just the ultimate Goku clone and he's looking to avenge his murdered sensei or something cliche like that and so for like a bunch of episodes it follows him as he goes through all the training to enter the tournament to get the prize to solve the mystery, doesn't matter as long as it's ultra cliche, and after about 40 episodes he is finally skilled enough to enter the tournament and there's this great big flashback episode celebrating how far he's come and it's super sappy and ultra happy and looking forward to the future.
Then he faces off against his first opponent in the round, not the main villain just some random guy in the tournament, and he is violently defeated and killed. The end. He never fights the big bad, he never gets his revenge, he's defeated and killed by a random lacky. Then the show ends and I never continue it or make a second season.

Edit: I wanted to make it clear that it's the main character that loses and is killed, not the henchman. And it should be an unnamed henchman and a really slow really drawn out death.

I'd love to direct an anime adaptation something by H.Murakami or Kobo Abe. Secret rendezvous by Abe would probs be my first choice, and I'd get Maasaki Yuasa to be my lead animator, given his ability to evince the necessary labyrinthian scope the setting demands. Music by Flaming Lips (Yoshimi battles part 1 would be ideal), Beck maybe Gorillaz and the final sequence would be set to Kings of Convenience's 'The Passenger'. Maybe throw Jugband Blues in too for good measure.

Damn I already have the Op and ed in mind. Actually want to do this.

I would like to make an anime out of Greek Mythology. Specifically, the Giant-o-machy. It's a story about the Earth generating Giants to threaten the Gods, and how the Gods enter an all-out war with them, helped by Hercules - since a half-human is prophesied to be the only one who will defeat the Giants. There's a kilometers tall giant with 50 arms who spits fire and gets smashed under the whole island of Sicily by Athena. I mean, it basically writes itself.

You guys ever watch IGPX? It's basically an anime, but with a more Western influence. I don't mean they made the show from the typical Japanese view of Americans in there anime. I remember watching the show and really liking it, but I couldn't figure out why. So I watched it again, and started noticing all the little things that are so different from a typical Japanese anime. But it goes without saying that japan didn't care for it much.

So I guess basically, I wan't an anime themed show, but with a more western view point......I guess......It's kind of hard to explain it.
