It's really hard to skip in a video without it freezing. I usually have to reload if that happens. Are my specs that bad?

Windows 8.1
Latest version of firefox
adobe flash player 12,0,0,70
Intel i7 core
1.8, 2.4
Intel integrated 4400
8 gigs of ram
273 GB Free

Your specs are fine. I have a lower spec'd system (older CPU, less RAM, older integrated GPU), same OS, browser, and Flash player version, and a slower connection.

Are you giving it enough time when you skip ahead? I find that the video stream picking up again after I skip forward (e.g., past the opening in an episode) seems to take longer than for the stream to initially start.

I also find that when a stream does freeze on me, 80% of the time or better, moving the slider back several seconds will often restart the stream (after some delay) without refreshing the page. I tend to avoid refreshing the video page unless there are problems at the very beginning, as it typically restarts much earlier than the point it stalled at and sometimes restarts from the beginning.
