And this week I tried premium again, as an european, as I do every 2 years.
Good things:
- There are 2 simulcasted animes I can access, instead of zero!
- Streaming for europeans comes from a german server, which means I can finally stream 720p without buffering (and 1080p with some buffering)!

Bad things:
- There are only 2 simulcasted animes I can acces...
- Can't access most of the old animes, especially Attack on Titan, which I really wanted to watch.
- Android app only streams in 360p, which looks crap on my 6" 1080p screen.
- Site is too heavy on my 2007 laptop, so I can't watch anime in bed (unless phone, but limited to 360p as said above).

Blargh, i guess I'll come back again in 2 more years, hoping that I can finally pay for the stuff I like to watch, instead of having to continue downloading fansubs...

Didn't know Crunchyroll had European servers, there goes my theory of why Crunchyroll is slow sometimes after 22:00 hrs. There are more than 2 simulcast programmes though, surely they buy European rights, and not on a country by country basis? .

Your ISP might be slowing traffic due to its high band with during peak times. While charging whatever they feel like for bad service. just a thought.

I have fibre optic broadband, as far as I'm aware bt only slow down P2P services during peak hours. Not sure to be honest if that would include services like Crunchyroll, have not noticed any problems with Netflix or lovefilm.

The licensors in Japan typically don't off a package deal for all European rights. About the only time you'll see all of Europe covered is when CR gets a "world except Japan" or "world except Asia" license.

In a quick check, however, I see 5 simulcasts from this season that should be available in Italy, and 3 more that should be available to premium members. That is without taking into account any of the continuing simulcasts from previous seasons.

Only two shows in Europe? That's an obvious lie. I've 24 and it isn't like Poland gets some special treatment. 0 simulcast is also a lie I've joined two years ago and there was at least 6 Naruto, Ginatama, Sket Dance and two 3 minutes. And in spring there was even more. And all those were worldwide. So you're lying or Italy is blocked for some, unknown for me, reason.
