Meh. I feel bad for Sensei.

I usually like Oka, but he deserved what he got. And the Principal is always deserving of punishment. Dunno why anybody thinks she's anything above an annoyingly obnoxious.

Because Lio your tastes are bad.

Principal is awesome.

Man have to say this chapter was just awesome but I have to admit it took me a while to get what was going on and that one of those maids was Sensei. Love how it turned out though.

I'm a bit hesitant on the Anime, seeing how much they changed the character designs... Still I'll give them the benefit of the doubt this time around

Generally the biggest demographic an anime is aimed at is not those who have read the source material, as counter intuitive as that sounds. Sometimes they try to appease the source readers but more often than not just try to bring the title to a wider audience.

Because of this I'm hoping the anime intends to pull the same trick the manga did with its early chapters.
The manga originally looked like this
but from around chapter 7 on the art style gradually changed until it ended up as the current one by chapter 19.

So basically I hope the anime is going to do something similar by beginning with a fairly bland and normal art style then suddenly turn all goofy at a certain point (Youko's wing reveal for example). For the anime viewers who haven't read the manga that would be quite a big surprise and a nice gimmick to generate more viewers.

Sadly as far as the plot goes... this mangas biggest strength is that it doesn't really follow a single flowing plot point; it is a random, disjointed mess of loosely connected events which stops it from getting stale. This strength may prove to be its downfall in the anime because it makes it very tempting for the production company to chop a LOT of content and get to the meat and bones of the Asahi x Youko plot

To call it dumb is a little uncalled for, lol their shanangins are awesome and you know it. I prefer this to Nisekoi, mainly because what's that? plot development? in a harem/ slice of life? impossible! haha seriously love all the characters despite all the randomness that comes with them they actually have some depth, i love it.

But when the Anime watcher goes to get the Manga, they would be disheartened by the change in Art Styles, it would do the Manga no good in that case. I hope yo're right on the whole, "they'll change the artstyle later on" but somehow I doubt it, from watching Shirobako, its come across to me that things like Character Design are fixed pretty early, and don't really change unless there is some objection. If they were to the point of releasing that image they did before; that means the author has dropped all objections. Which is sad. The current character designs look so "moe". And yes, I am using that in a bad way. The manga's designs are more "late ninties, early 2000's" which lends to its comedy and character, rather than the moeblob character design of the post k-on generation.

Dunno why so many people like to compare this to Nisekoi. The similarities're only skin-deep, at best.

I'm holding out hope that the single image they have revealed is misleading and will decide just how likely it is to be a train wreck adaptation when there is a PV released.
Anime adaptations can go from near panel for panel faithful like Space Brothers to complete atrocities that have little in common bar the names of the characters like Freezing and I desperately want Jitsu wa to be saved from being subjected to the later. So much so I will fervently deny the possibly until I have no choice but to accept it XD

Exactly, take One-punch man's first anime image shot. Everyone was panicking because Saitama was in his "cool look" mode. Once the PV came out everyone relaxed since we got to see stickman Saitama. I'll hold all judging on the character designs UNTIL the first PV comes out. When that gets released and if the characters are still in that mainstream look, then I'm gonna start judging. Half the appeal of the manga is the character expressions which fits perfectly with the comedy. Mess that up and the whole show could follow suit pretty fast.

Also: Osananajimi always get the biggest ship, the only one that beats that out in my eyes is the girl with the best interactions with the character, and that almost ALWAYs tends to be: The Osananajimi

It's closer to Monster Musume than Nisekoi, and even then, Monster Musume and Jitsu Wa aren't super similar to each other. It's more like Rosario+Vampire but with straight up slapstick and gag humor and little to no fighting.
