Amazon is nice, so is CR, rarely do I ever have problems from either of these.

I also like J-List, but mostly as a loyal customer more than anything... their prices are a bit higher, and they usually ship from Japan, so that jacks the price up even more. But they give great customer service, and they have plenty of other things... some that are NSFW so I won't mention them here on CR forums BUT I know that their goods are the real deal, so I trust them a bit more, and am willing to the pay the prices and the wait time for it to ship internationally.

I think a lot of CR's and possibly J-Lists figures come from Rightstuf, so that is probably a good place to look too, they even have a larger selection, but I think they are bit more pricier than at least what is in CR's store...

Amazon and CR store is the best priced in my opinion. CR with the member discount at least.

Amazon sometimes can be like eBay and you're paying for something you are not actually getting, or you are getting a knock off product instead by a 3rd party company of some sorts. But Amazon has that happen a lot less than eBay me thinks.

Other places being of course if you have local Anime/Manga stores or Comic Book stores, and I mean strictly just these, not like finding Comic Books in any bookstore sort of thing. They tend to also carry action figures or other goods associated with their other stock.

Conventions as well if you decide to go to them. Though I have heard they can be just as expensive sometimes as some of the more expensive online stores.

Just an example of pricing differences:
Levi Nendoroid Figure

CR Store: $38.00 as a member.
RightStuf: $50.99.
JList: $55.00

None of these include shipping yet of course. Amazon didn't seem to have Levi either, perhaps because it is still on preorder.

I honestly usually pick them up at conventions. I know there is a mark up there, but i like to physically see what i am buying in this case.

I ordered a couple online one time and got some that were much smaller than I thought they would be.. (My fault i am aware)

But now i get to see what i buy up close and that eases my mind a ton..

Closest thing I'll buy would be Gunpla, and I just pick those up at anime conventions, which I don't go to very often.

AmiAmi is pretty popular but I haven't personally bought anything from there.

The only online store that I have bought some of my figures from is Tokyo Toys. The other few I pick up when I'm out at anime conventions as nothing beats being able to see the product in person before you make that purchase.

Black Cat Comics.

I want to order some anime figurines, for once. Maybe here, or I can find a cheap deal on KSL or Amazon.

First it was HLJ, then Hobbysearch, & now mostly Amiami for me. With the domestic licensing of figures now I do notice that Amazon isn't bad as long as it's fullfilled by Amazon. Buying from Amiami will get you things at least a month sooner then waiting for domestic releases though & the selection is much wider. I've been buying a little from CR too, but only when they do their deal of the day where the prices are competitive against importing directly.

Amazon Japan would've been a good choice except they don't ship "toys" internationally & only offer express shipping. So basically Amiami.

When I first started collecting figures, I bought them at cons and from Anime Corner. But then I attended a panel at a con about where the best places to get anime figures are, and I ordered stuff from HLJ, Hobby Search, and Ami Ami. Crunchyroll sometimes has some special deals that make it an ideal place for my figs as well. For the most part, it has been with Ami Ami as of late seeing how they have the best prices and have a pretty sizable stock on hand. But their website is quite a pain to navigate, so I check Hobby Search more frequently to see what new figures are coming soon. I do careful examinations about prices and everything when I decide to buy something.

You want older stuff that has been around awhile, use Mandarake. Damn good prices, and direct from the stores in Akiba

Stock varies day to day, right now they have some Nanoha figmas for $8 right now, Lucky star & Haruhi's for $10. That's stupid good.
The cheap figmas there are so cheap I buy stuff I don't care about like Kamen rider, just so my other figmas I care about have generic bad guys to beat up.
