The appeal of manga/anime are the creative storylines for me.

But as far as women go, intimacy, companionship, having a partner you can confide with and trust far trumps anything a drawing could do for me.

its just fantasy, people get lost in virtual worlds or they have problems in the real world and try to escape it by watching anime or playing games i know i do it my self because the world can be a terrible place. but there are some people that become too dependent on these fantasy world and try to block out reality but at the end of the day its up to the individual person as long as there not hurting anyone or causing trouble they have the right to like whatever they want so i think you should accept them for who they are

also i can't deny that i haven't wanted to be able to assume the role of characters and live in these worlds but i still make sure that i keep a firm grasp on reality

personally prefer real humans.

there's just something about real life objects that art cannot imitate, it's the motion and sparkle in someone's eyes. you can't really capture that through an art form. then there are also smell... and touch.

(i don't go around sniffing people, but sometimes the wind carry a person's smell to me, and it smells nice or attractive)

Well since 2D anime girls are superior to "real" 3D girls in every way... the obvious solution is to buy anime girl figurines. voila, 3D!

Well, since anime girls aren't real, I suppose I'll have to settle for real ones. Anime ones are great to watch, but so many things about their relationships are so situation specific, I don't know how it could work out in real life. Anime just portray interpretations of girls after all, and they can't truly display the original since real girls have more personality even if we don't always see it since we aren't an omniscient observer.
