Anime usually affects my amount of daydreaming, but after watching certain animes I change my attitude towards life for a while. For instance after Fairy Tail I became a lot more cheerful and tried harder at things. After persona 4 I valued my friendships a lot more, and after deathnote i became rather philosophical. IIt wears off after some months though.

I believe anime has shown me many perspectives and taught me morals that I never learned at school. If anything i think it makes me a better person.

Anime has been more than helpful to my life. I have watched more than hundreds of animes and all of which have given me light in many different ways. There are so many great animes on this site pretty much everyday i get excited to see a new episode and almost all of each new episode puts a smile on my face. Sure when the episode is over it just means i have to wait till next week, but thats okay because when these animes make me excited and happy i become much more productive with my day after. And on days i wanna just relax i can just binge watch animes i havent seen yet

Some life lessons here and there but it kills the free time I got when I'm with the girl or with friends. Basically my way of watching TV

Watching anime has helped me maintain my emotional balance, bolstered my imagination and has helped me build up my spiritual/religious beliefs.

While in college, I had a fall out with my first group of friends freshman year; they started picking on me and I got fed up with their bullshit.
So, my second semester I was loner.
(My soph. year I found my best buds, luckily enough. Also, my first group lost touch after I left; turned out teaming up on me was their glue)

Since I had nobody to hang with, I started watching some shounen (DBZ + Naruto).
But it wasn't until I watched my first slice-of-life, Suzuka, that I got HOOKED.
I had NO idea anime could have so much reality, drama or emotion to it.
Eventually, the slice-of-life genre is what made me want to reach out to others again.

From that point on, anime has taken me on an emotional roller-coaster ride that I simply refuse to get off.
It's so fun, it's so creative, it's so artistic, it's so happy, it's so sad; it's everything and anything you want it to be.
You just gotta search for the right ones at the right times.

Yu Narukami is such a badass in Persona 4: The Animation. Naturally, I try to follow his example staying cool and collected at al time is beneficial regardless of who you are
