do you chose clothes that you want to wear yourself, not caring about society, or do you pick clothing that you think society would believe you look nice in some examples of this is group conformity, aka peer pressure, or picking clothing to get the girl you like, and etc. you also must consider your feeling about this, i don't mean you pick clothing you hate just to fit in. i mean does it this influence your choice and you are satisfied and happy about your purchase. I WILL ADMIT THAT I PICK CLOTHES I BELIEVE THAT THE GIRLS WOULD LIKE ON ME!

I wear what I want. As long as I am presentable, and my clothes are suited for the occasion while retaining how I feel at the moment. I choose clothes and styles that suit me, not the ones that appeal on a shallow note to society/peers.

I've never even considered what others would think of my clothing choices. I just see things I like and pick them. Only my opinion matters.

I wear what I like. I don't care what anyone else thinks, why should I?

I typically wear a generic one color tshirt preferably a shade of gray and some black jeans with either gray or black shoes. My reasoning behind this is simply so I don't pick anything of a strange color variety (I'm severely colorblind.)

I buy cloth on sale... so if there is something I like and if its pants under $20, shirt under $7 and so on then I will get it.

I like to be trendy. so I wear things that I think look good on men I see on the streets.
but the problem is... most men here are tall, so when they wear stuffs, they always look good in it. but when I wear them, it doesn't produce the same effect.

like these work pants I bought last week, I make them look like every other pants. but I saw it on the mannequin, and it looked so good on it... rofl... my legs are too short to produce the same effect. it's supposed to make the wearer look really slim and sleek... and statuesque, but I can't produce that same effect

I like wearing comfortable, low-key clothes. I primarily choose my clothing based on how comfortable I feel wearing it, not what others may think. I won't wear something completely uncomfortable because someone says it looks good on me. But I will not lie. It is nice when people compliment me on my clothes, and it is not nice when my appearance gets critiqued. I am a bit sensitive to criticism based on appearances (as I believe most people are, even if they refuse to admit it), and I don't like to stand out. So, as I said, I like wearing low-key clothes to avoid unnecessary attention.

I'm very influenced by the outfits worn by main characters from "Pretty Little Liars". Aria from PLL has cute clothes, so I tend to get outfit ideas from her wardrobe in the show. I don't think I can wear anything I don't like, because I'll feel ugly in them lol... so... I'd like to think I am my own person who isn't swayed by fads. Although, some fads look awesome, and that's just how it is! (they're popular for a reason).

I mostly wear solid color, very plain shirts because...:I They're cheap. The other half of my wardrobe is stripy, which is also cheap.

But every so often, I treat myself to something cute. I like a casual mori girl type of style, and I get a lot of influence from... the vocaloid community of all things. The dancers especially dress up really cutely, and I'd love to own a few more pieces like what Apricot* wears. The illustrators who draw for chorus pvs also have a great sense of style. I know a few websites where I can find clothing and brands like that but...OTL I can only afford to buy a $30~40 sweater or dress every other month or so. Without some kind of income source, I can't dress cutely!

I can't tell if I'm easily swayed by fads, or if my tastes have simply matured.

I go with my mood and the anime I watched the night before or what was on my tumblr. Some days I go full punk with chains and dark eyes, feeling bad ass struttin' my stuff on the street. Others I dress in plain "everyday" clothes just because I'm too lazy to put a lot of effort into my look. I never go out of my way to fit in or to stick out, I wear what makes me feel good.

I wear what women consider attractive, unless they found men wearing skirts hot(ill never pull that).
