I'm influenced by hippy style, so a lot of my clothes are flowy dresses or something similar. Oversized and bulky is good too.

I like to be trendy. so I wear things that I think look good on men I see on the streets.
but the problem is... most men here are tall, so when they wear stuffs, they always look good in it. but when I wear them, it doesn't produce the same effect.

like these work pants I bought last week, I make them look like every other pants. but I saw it on the mannequin, and it looked so good on it... rofl... my legs are too short to produce the same effect. it's supposed to make the wearer look really slim and sleek... and statuesque, but I can't produce that same effect

Get them tailored, it'll rectify the problem some, at least with the excess at the ankles. Also wear it at the natural waist, you want minimal fabric in the crotch area. Ridding that and aiming for roughly a quarter to half break in the pants will dramatically improve the look. And when you get them tailored, wear the shoes you'd normally wear (I'd guess dress shoes since you mentioned work). If you tailor them for dress shoes and wear loafers, it'll affect the break and not look the same.

Mannequins are extremely deceptive as it is, since a lot of department stores pin the backs of them to rid of the excess fabric and make them fit the best. You'd need a more athletic build to pull off the same look, which even then is a stretch since the clothing is typically too tight to justify normal everyday movements.

But I digress, I do a combo of both if you will. I wear suits and the like frequently, but I wear them because I like to and think it looks better than baggy clothes that don't fit. Most professional environments enjoy this look too, so it's a win win.

Well, what I like is socially acceptable for where I live at, or, at least, looks it on the surface. I often wear men's pants, men's shirts, and men's work boots. Nobody notices the difference, though my wallet certainly knows the truth. I can buy a good pair of men's pants for as low as $9, but women's pants are often times significantly more expensive and more crappy. The men's pants that I buy last a hell of a lot longer than women's pants. That goes for shirts, too. It's sad when a $9 pair of men's pants outlast $24-34 worth in women's. As for the shoes... I just happen to like steel-toed hiking and work boots, and I've yet to see a section for women of those.

I'll wear sweatpants in public, if I feel so obliged. I don't really give 'ratten ein arsch' what people think, really.

But, on occasion, say, dinner, a movie, a backseat bump, I do tend to clean up rather nicely. [I said in a posh British accent]

I always wear a button up collar shirt ( colors vary ), blue jeans, and white sneakers. I wear this just because it's comfortable and that I don t really have alot of nice clothes.

The way I buy clothes is if I like it, I can afford it, and it fits me, then I'll wear it.

I just wear what's comfortable. Simply a t-shirt and sweatpants lol. No one will be attracted to me regardless of what I wear. Not trying to get attention, it is reality. Why wear what people consider to be attractive? Just wear what's comfortable for you, so long as it's acceptable.

When it comes to clothes I usually don't care since I throw on whatever's nearest to me. I've only ever specifically chosen out three pieces of clothing which I definitely wanted: A grey hoodie, an Alex Mercer leather jacket, and a black turtleneck jumper. At the end of the day I usually don't care what people wear nor what I wear lol.

I sometimes dress to impress... Myself. the principal consideration when I look in the mirror is, Do I think I look good. (this is a change, I used to very much be... a 'Top of the clean pile' person)

For that reason I do pay attention to some fashion basics such as colours that look good with -my- skin and with each other as accents. Comfort, practicality etc.

There is a constant war raging between cute and pragmatic, I like heels. I don't like how they limit my mobility and stability but I like what they do for my legs and posture and.. mental attitude. sometimes they just aren't pragmatic. and when I can't wear them items that I think look doofusy with the footwear that I DO choose also can't be worn.

I do like skirts and summer dresses and WAS pleased when a Wool Frock I'd picked up at the thrift store turned out be be quite fashionable this year. But I'll still keep wearing it even as it becomes 'Oh.. SO last season' I dress to please myself. Part of that is 'looking good' but I'm my own judge in that regard.

I'm sure some of you have heard this but It sums up a lot of my purchases.

I don't. Nothing will change the love I have for my overly big, green jumper. It's like my overly big head is glued on!

P.s can't figure out why the picture has rotated lulz..
