I don't know what my girl did to your basic noodles but they were SO GOOD. The soup was flavorful, and full of veggies. I tasted a hint of garlic and onions, and the soup had chopped celery and carrot shavings. The noodles were seasoned as well, I believe she may have fried the noodles with butter and veggie oil. She fried pork strips and had the meat soaking in the soup while it was sitting on the stove top simmering and she boiled some eggs and put pepper and salt over them after chopping them in half and after placing the noodles in the soup she placed the boiled eggs on top. It was so damn good. I'm not even sure if she added the seasoning that came with it...

Me, I like add cheese, and sunny side up eggs, and shrimp.

Ugh one time she made this sweet smokey yet spicy meaty flavored ramen...She somehow made sure not to make the flavors to strong but enough to make you go wow. There was of course a split boiled egg in the noodles, sesame seeds, and shaved carrot pieces. She fried battered up some chicken strips and fried them up and placed them on the side with a nice mini salad with spinach, peas, cucumbers, carrots, lettuce tossed in vinegar. She made her own breading and again since I'm not the in the kitchen most of time, I'm not sure what she did but the breading was crunchy and went very well with the noodles..the breading had a faint sweetness and something else..idk..

CHEESE~~ you can never go wrong with cheese ^^
However, if cheese it too heavy for you I do suggest adding chili powder and cilantro. I find it really refreshing(?)
I can't describe the taste but it's somewhere near the feeling of being able to smell after having a runny nose. I hope I'm making sense instead of just rambling on and on.

Onion, bell pepper, soy sauce, savory and/or green onion. I usually skip meat because it takes too long. I cook them on the stove, in a pan. The flavor packet goes in only after the water's been drained. I often add curry powder and pepper to give it some kick.

Ramen sounds like noodles. I eat my noodles like noodles and I call it noodles. I don't eat noodles as much anymore as when I was in high school.
