Now that I think about it I've never eaten ramen, only noodles. I'd probably be too scared to eat it at a restaurant, though. I'd feel like a nob for eating it with a fork instead of chopsticks since no matter how hard I try I simply cannot use them to save my life. My family can all use them easily but I just end up giving my hand a cramp.

Never even heard of egg drop soup?

Personally I don't eat soup with eggs but it is actually a common thing.

No, I don't go out to eat often, and my family tends to make Arabic dishes which exclude eggs in soup. Though now I wish to try it Mr. >w<

Makes sense. Whenever the opportunity arises for you to try it I hope you enjoy it. Then you can join the rest of the weirdos here.

?? Well, ummm... really? Arabs don't eat eggs in soup? I'm shocked... what about this:

http://www.touregypt.net/recipes/recipeweek04222002.htm

I love that soup. Even on hot days, when I went to the lunch place that isn't there anymore, I would order this and sweat, because it was worth it if I hadn't been for a while. Now, I can't get it anymore.

I never make stuff like this at home. It turns to curdle. But it's not because I'm ethnically arab, it's because I curdle milk and eggs somehow. Pan, milk, eggs, curdle.

Because if it's not meant to boil, it shouldn't be on the stovetop. That's just how it is. They must cook that soup in space. They can't fool me with their creamy sauces. Ha. Clearly, alien technology is involved. Mmm, but it tastes so good.

Egyptian...huh. I don't know my mom is Lebanese. But not typically. Never could say my mom has cx !

I hear it takes a lot of patience in mixing the eggs and lemon juice to get it to come out right. Along with the timing of adding it in. I also hear that if it curdles it doesn't really affect the taste. Maybe you should just go for it regardless so you don't miss out on something you seem to like so much.

Yes, that's probably it. Space patience. Well, we earth people don't have patience like that. We burn things. It can't be helped.

Milk goes in the fridge! Eggs get boiled or fried solid! That's the limit of our technology! GOOOMEEENN--SAAAAIIII!!!!

No, I have tried, it is probably me. I do tend to loose track.

I could probably find another place that makes it again. I'm the only one who like middle eastern food. Well, Falafel. There is a falafel lover. But both of us like all food. So, we can be easily distracted from getting food, using other food. Will we ever not fall for that? I don't know.

At a restaurant. It's gotta be the real deal. Instant doesn't even compare.

It's been a while since I've eaten ramen. Lately, I've been eating yakisoba instead when I eat noodles.

But what's really good is some seasoned rice by itself.
