It's fine for me probably just the browser you're using

Are you a Verizon customer? If so, check this thread:

Verizon FiOS is throttling Crunchyroll and Netflix
http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-840037/verizon-fios-is-throttling-crunchyroll-and-netflix

There are also other threads on the subject:

Crunchyroll Website lag is a nightmare

CR Website Approaching Being Unusable

From what I understand, CR is working on a fix on their end. For the video streaming, that is. The website, the forums, load fine for me and most people. You also might want to check the CR premium member forum...

http://www.crunchyroll.com/group/CR_Premium_Members

There are a couple threads in there about video lag (if that's what you're talking about). You are asking about streaming lag, right?

its both streaming AND the website itself. I'll just be trying to load a page and it'll take like 40 seconds, used to take half a second or just 1. Will occasionally get some stream lag, yes im Verizon FIOS but it's actually the website thats been laggier for me. Once a stream starts for me it usu doesnt stop, its just navigating the pages, and when i get to a page that is the episode, the video player will take like 2 minutes to load.

They said something about fixing stuff and releasing a new system for the video around the end of the first quarter of this year. I'm waiting them to get back my membership. See if things are still laggy then; if so, then just drop crunchyroll all together.

EDIT: Net Neutrality and all that jazz. Check another internet provider company in the area if the same problem persist.

Blaming website issues on Net Neutrality is a cop out. Yes the Verizon issue is concerning but Crunchyroll is not off the hook. The lack of proper load distribution and a poorly coded flash player are also to blame. I've noticed that these video hang issues seem to happen more often on newer loaded content. That could mean that their CDNs are not yet loaded with this content or it could just be a lot of people watching the video right after it came out. I don't know. Bottom line is Crunchyroll needs to fix what they can fix.

Well, the site's staff themselves never press released anything about being down by Net Neutrality. All that have been said about Net Neutrality and Verizon are speculations from users.

And I'll totally agree on your last sentence. I'm just sitting on my hands until the end of the first quarter this year. I'll give crunchyroll a chance again then.
