I don't really care as long as if the game I'm playing is playable at the very least.

I prefer handheld, but as of right now, I'm not playing my 3DS that much. I need to buy new games for it.

Usually the living room is always being occupied by family members hogging the TV and don't have much time to play console games.

I started off as a kid with handhelds but once I got my first console I never really went back to handhelds. I'm just really not one for gaming on the go, I prefer the experience of sitting down in front of a big TV with my games and just zoning out there.

It depends on the game, but handhelds are better than what people say about them. There are many games that can benefit from the convenience and social aspect of handhelds like Monster Hunter has.

I am a console gamer mainly, I love my controller. I like having my one device for everything I use. I don't really ever game in teh public with my handheld, I do bring my 3DS with me wherever I go though. So if I ever do get teh urge to game I can. Besides I just started my collection for teh 3DS so my console collection way overshadows it.

Both (or all three, if PCs are counted), but, as I have aged and the hardware has improved, I have been leaning more and more towards portables, and, IMO, this is because, starting at the GBA (one of the best of the lot), portables have been freed from having to depend on regular batteries for charge.

100% handheld fan. I can carry millions of handheld games in my bag with all the rightful games and chargers XD. I noticed that when My dad got the Wii for my siblings and I, I stayed far away from it; The sensor thingy annoyed me >:P

I'm a handheld gamer, but I'd switch over to console in a heart beat if I could actually buy a ps3 and find time to play every single jrpg I have ever missed out on.
I feel so left out when people talk about Persona because that is totally a thing I would invest in had I anything to invest. ;o;

Persona 1 = Remade on PSP.
Persona 2 – Innocent Sin = Remade on PSP.
Persona 2 – Eternal Punishment = PS1 version downloadable on PSN (for PSP).
Persona 3 Portable = PSP.
Persona 4 Golden = Vita.

Don't worry, Haku. We didn't leave you behind.
