It often doesn't take much to get me going (at least if I'm on my own, I tend to suppress it around others).

"Nichijou/My Ordinary Life" got me a few times despite mostly being an awesome comedy. "Mio Runs" (especially the baseball stuff) and the bit with the voucher got me pretty badly (I hope no one ever says "Mio Runs" to me in real-life because it'd probably set me off). Also, for some reason I got emotional about the bit where Yuko watches the Principal deal with some wildlife (and composes a haiku), particularly the end. I have no idea why that got to me (awesomeness overload maybe?).

There are loads of other things really.

I'm not really an emotional person but there are just some things that get to you. And they are usually simple things.

For instance: a simple "You found me" and "Goodbye".

I find this is often the case. "I'm home" (and/or the reply "Welcome back") seems to be a common one in anime. Simple words but deeper meaning I guess.

The pet girl of sakarasou had me shedding a few tears. The speech was so beautiful and moving I couldn't hold back.

Gurren Lagann, a small tear was shed at the end of that series. It wasn't terribly sad but it was beautiful the way it ended. The first season of SAO made me angrier than any other anime; I've never hated a bad guy as much as I hated glasses guy.

Even though it didn't actually make me cry, it almost did.

A lot of these have been said already but there are some new ones. All of these had a bitter sweet ending or left me crying during the final episode because it was just very powerful and happy;

Angel Beats
Anohana
Brynhildr In The Darkness
Golden Time
Kamigami no Asobi
Myself; Yourself
The Pet Girl of Sakurasou
Toradora (just a very sweet ending)

Chihayafuru, a few times. I'm easily moved by sports/competition stories.
And Steins;Gate, Natsume Yuujinchou, Hotarubi no Mori e, Fate/Zero (Rider), Tari Tari, Jyu Oh Sei, Shinsekai Yori, Hanasaku Iroha.

I'm too manly to cry, but if it would have happened:

Toradora had some great parts.
Grave of the Fireflies, da hell man, it's like a soul shredder put to film.
Angel Beats, great show and then whole ending episode was tough to watch.

My Teenage Romance Snafu had a few parts that almost got me,
His teacher Shizuka Hiratsuka telling Hachiman that other people hurt when he does hit home.
Hell, most of Hachiman's diatribes are brutally honest and sometimes just a tad to close to the mark.

Most of my tear letting happen mostly watching Key Animation's shows like the Clannads and Air: the animation and Kanon.

Anohana touched me and got closer than most anime.
Shuffle was good except for the psycho Kaede part.
The run away scene in Toradora was good, hated the abrupt ending, but there was closure.

Just because of what I've heard I will never see Grave of the Fireflies.

truse story of a suicide pilot at the end of ww2. throw in the wife, and it was hard to watch, as people like him really did it.

Clannad probably hit me harder than any other anime, but I didn't cry. When I was really tired at about midnight I finished Angel Beats, and the ending to that made me cry.
