I've been playing fighting games like Marvel Vs Capcom, Arcana Heart 3, Aquapazza, ect. and I've seen this one setting (usually during the character select screen) called "Simple Mode" I've used it a few times. Mainly on Arcana Heart 3. so I was wondering to ask you guys if you like that option or no. Does it bothers you if anyone else uses Simple Mode to go against you. (Even online). Why not share your thoughts about it?

I prefer not to use it because the more in-depth techniques (or the more difficult combos) aren't accessible with a setting such as "Simple Mode" due to the limiting factor of the mode itself.

That said, I don't mind if someone uses "Simple Mode". I suppose you can think of it as training wheels for fighting games, but then again, there are some who will just end up sticking to "Simple Mode" without ever wanting to improve so I guess it's a double edged sword, so to speak.

I don't like to use them in most of my fighting games. Well mainly in the ones that I actually want to play anyway. I think some fighting games are just made only "simple" though. Look at most of the naruto fighting games. Every combo, to my memory, is all done using the same button. Now that I think about it, aren't most anime fighting games simple to begin with.

I think its a good idea for those who want to play it, but not enough to learn anything about it.
