Basically, give a statement, an opening or even a plot for people to write. It's just a way for people to improve their writing or come up with new stories. Sometimes it can help people get past writers block.

There's no need to post what you write if you use a prompt. I'm just looking for prompts that I could use, and I figured every writer could use a few.

The prompts can be for specific fandoms or just general things. Sentences, things to be used in the story, and plots are all fair game.

Here are a few prompts of my own creation.

The main character finds out they're adopted and who their real parents are (someone unexpected)

"I really don't like it when people dig through my private collection of books, not because there's porn, but because I secretly read a lot of children's books"

"What do you mean we're out of watermelon? I want watermelon now!"

It's a bad idea to piss off any creature. It's a worse idea to mess with their cubs.

"Why did I let him drag me shopping? I hate shopping. And I'm a girl..."
