Well for me I'm open to basically everything, including songs and artists that I don't understand. I like Rammstein despite not knowing a spec of German with the exception of a few choice phrases, most of them from a book by Milan Kundera. Don't expect Rammstein to be featured on American MTV or VH1 though. I don't think most Americans are ready for them yet. I know a lot of people that like Rammstein though. As for how I think of Germany as a whole, well, I don't know a lot about it (excluding general knowledge of its history) so I can't say I have a real opinion on Germany. =\

Personally I cant stand 'em. One of the reasons being their music and another being that once people find out you're from germany the first thing they ask is "Do you like Rammstein?" ARGH! Drives me bannans!!

I admit to liking Rammstein although they're not the only good German band out there. I've got their book of lyrics translated in English. The lyrics are pretty damn good and you gotta give props to them for writing their own music.

Probably never. I might I have heard of them getting arrested in Massachusetts before though. Now that I think of it, it sounds familiar. I'll check the videos out.
