Hi, has anyone noticed how many Animes are out this season?
51, yes 51, go ahead and count them I'll wait (plays elevator music).
The thing is, do you find yourself just watching Anime all day? Everyday?
Do you forget to let the cat or dog out?
Do you stay in your PJ's (pajamas for some of you) all day and never go out?
Do you have chronic bed head?
Do you forget or don't brush your teeth and just munch on snacks all day?
Are you OTAKU???
There might be a cure for you, and it is even here on Crunchyroll!
Watch a little drama from time to time, yes that's right, a little drama.
You just might find that by watching a little drama that you might want to go outside with the cat and dog.
You might find out that you like taking showers more often.
You might find out that cheetos is not part of the daily food group.
You might even see the sun, but don't stare at it, then you could not watch Anime or even drama.
You might even come to love dressing up and even going out and working a job so you can pay the rent on your apartment or buy the expensive manga you have been drooling over. Not to mention all the Anime conventions that you are missing.
You might even find true love!
Yes you!
There might be someone just like you that likes PJ's (Pajamas for some of you) with monkeys on the butt and likes to eat your favorite flaming hot cheetos!
And even allows you to stay in bed and watch Anime with you!
You can finally throw that sweat stained "Waifu" pillow away and even have clean sheets on the bed.
All because you watched a little drama one day.
...and now...the real drama of your life can begin!
Um...nevermind. Enjoy your Anime!

Hmm...Seems to be a theme lately.

I watch a lot of anime, but strangely, I don't feel the least bit bad about it. Magi, Log Horizon, etc.... All good stuff. Well worth my time. However, It's not like the rest of my life stops. I still eat, bathe, and socialize. I go to work in the morning and still have time to read a book once a week.

Life isn't about balance. It's about not killing your neighbor.

Well, this season, I'm caught up on about 20 shows. I'm trying to catch up on Sakura Trick currently, have to catch up to Super Sonico, am waiting to the end of this season to watch both seasons of Chunibyo, and am trying to find time to watch Wonder Momo, Silver Spoon, Nisekoi, Kill la Kill, Samurai Flamenco, and catch up on Naruto Shippuden because I'm a little behind.

I have that same feeling watching drama, Space Brothers even, it just motivates me to go outside, study, cook, and futile attempts to work out.
I can't say I watch too much when it comes to it, I've been watching on my smart phone more than on my laptop and I literally just migrate from anime to anime (within my queue of course) watching an episode a piece. When I come across a good one I'd watch an episode every night. Weird huh?

I am watching (checks simulcast list) 21 shows this season, and am caught up to all but 2 (Sakura Trick and Space Brothers, which I just started).

Just added it up, and that is about 10.5 hours a week, plus I like to marathon smaller shows. However, I really enjoy all the shows I watch so I don't feel like it is too much.

Hell, I haven't even watched a show that wasn't on CR in a couple seasons. Might be time I found that show about Jesus and Buddha.

Who needs drama when you've got Netflix. I'm only caught up on 1 show out of the 14 that I have in my queue because I've been busy watching House of Cards and the rest of Breaking Bad. But even if I didn't have that I would still take a shower and go outside ever now and again. I mean how else are you going to replenish your snack cupboard.

Yes I have.

Is that also including FUNi's simulcasts? I feel like there were more.

No I get bored with Anime if it is all day, but I can do 6-8 hours without getting too bored.

Nope, dog door, they let themselves out!

Quite often, but I also work from home, so I rarely have a reason to go out other than shopping. P.S. I sometimes don't even wear PJ's ;)

Nope, short buzz cut fixes most hair problems as a guy.

Sometimes, but I think that is just being human... right? Also I do not have a snack drawer on my desk that is full of snacks, go away...

No, I only just last month got my first non Manga or Anime related "Otaku" item which was is Saber Nendoroid.

My cure is getting even more Anime... on top of the like 630 I have seen...

Still can't quite get into Drama.

I already go out with my dogs!

I still take my daily amount of showers...

WHAT IT ISN'T?!?!?!

I don't get a choice here, the sun sets right into my bedroom window.

I do love dressing nice and going out, with friends though, solo is kind of meh. But I at least need to get out to buy Manga.

I hope I don't. Too much of a hassle.

No!

Let it be a girl so I can use the phrase "Spank that monkey." No I will not apologize for this awful joke.

Again let this be a girl...

Don't have one. Sorry 99% of those Dakimuras or whatever are a little too disturbing. Also like $100+ which is insane. Also I am grounded a bit to reality and don't have a "waifu"

Still don't watch Drama.

Real life began for me when I started paying bills..

OH crap was there only one question?

Uhmmm anyway... I watch on average 5 hours of Anime a day I would say. As little as 2-3 but as much as 7-8, unless I am doing one of my insane marathons like all of Fairy Tail or all 4 seasons of Familiar of Zero.

watching like 40 right now but some of those aren't this season but older ones I've missed or are re-watching.

But no I don't watch too much cause I still go to college and get good grades so I can stop. I do stay in my pj's all day when I'm home but that's cause it's easier to move around in.

Some day's I don't watch anime and when I do it's like 4 hours altogether cause I still go on YouTube and play games.

Yeah i watch a lot of anime - i'm watching like 40ish right now, but most of them aren't from this season though.

I find that a lot of animes influence me to wanna go outside and do something - after watching kuroko no basket and slam dunk i almost always go out to play basketball. After i watched air gear i went and bought inline skates and ended up nearly breaking every bone in my body. I started getting back into soccer after watching hungry heart wild striker, and prince of tennis made led me to start playing tennis. I feel like if i watched space brothers at an earlier age i would have studied way harder in high school, as i have always loved space in general and it'd be totally awesome to go out there.

I don't see really see anime as having a negative impact on my life and i feel like inspires me to try new things. I really don't see how watching dramas is so different and how it would make me change my life, they're really kind of boring tbh.

I love the endless possibilities that are offered through anime and it is totally awesome how many different kinds of anime there are. I don't ever see my self not wanting to watch anime.

When the weather is bad (freezing, pouring rain, blowing 50mph) like is usually is in Eastern Washington around this time of year, I watch a lot of anime. No less than 4 episodes a day if I am buried in schoolwork, and no more than 26 per day if I have nothing else to do. I marathoned Chihayafuru in two days (for the second time...love that show) just last week. But I still shower daily, cook all my meals from scratch, and tidy up the apartment no matter how many episodes I watch.

When the weather is decent enough to go out or when I am home and working, I may only watch a few episodes, if any at all. I would rather be outside riding my bikes, turning wrenches, shooting stuff, etc. Anime is wonderfully entertaining, but so is real life. Plus, if I don't work as much as I possibly can, I won't be able to afford new bike parts, truck parts, guns, knives, kitchen supplies, ski gear, and anime. I would rather work my ass off, have money to spend, and watch a little anime than work a little, have no money to spend, and watch a lot of anime.

Oh and on the subject of drama. No. Just no. Anime is great. It is wonderful and awesome and I love it. I can not, do not, and will not watch dramas.

Dramas are actually really good. In many ways they are similar to animes. I really reccommend Boys over Flowers(manga) and You Are the Best Lee Sunshin.
