This is just a reminder to the developers at CR that there's still people who're interested in a CR app for handheld consoles such as 3DS and PSvita!

C'mon don't let us PSvita owners hanging here... Your PS4 app supports remote-play, and that to me is the ultimate tease!

Also if your in Europe and want the CR app on your PS4, just make a US PSN account and download it from there and then boot it up from your main PSN account.

It would make sense to have a PSvita app already in the PSN app store for the vita, after all they did announce that a PSvita app was in the making about a year ago http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2013/07/06/crunchyroll-app-coming-to-playstation-vita.

Why is CR so quiet about the development of the PSvita app by not responding to what their user base want? It almost seems like they aren't working on it due to it not being released yet, c'mon it's been in development for about 2 years. Only by searching for either "PSvita and/or 3DS CR app" on the forums you get a bunch of results on threads where people are discussing both 3DS and PSvita apps for CR.

Also, the 3DS has a huge user base here on CR and to this date there's not been a single mentioning about a 3DS app!

I suspect that lack of a 3DS app (or any other Nintendo device app) has more to do with Nintendo than CR.

CR is relatively small fry compared to Netflix, YouTube, or even Hulu, so Nintendo has less incentive to play ball.

CR is small and therefore they're not on 3DS.... I don't buy that because if you look at what both Sony and Nintendo have done whit their handhelds then you can see that both Sony and Nintendo are promoting smaller developers and/or indie companies to publish their software on their systems.

3DS, VITA, PS4, PS3, Android, IOS and 360 has one big thing in common and that's that all of them support Javascript. And I'm just guessing now but the CR player is most likely javascript based on PS3, PS4 etc... So it shouldn't be that hard to make the CR player compatible whit all devices. I know that there's a lot optimization work to be done after you make the player compatible whit said system, such as hardware, software and system architecture optimization.

And if you look at Nintendo then they aren't the biggest supporter of media apps on their system (compared to M$ and Sony), I believe that's the reason behind why there's no CR app on 3DS. Also, that CR doesn't really bother to make CR available for those who use 3DS!

So what video apps are available on the 3DS other than the big 3 I mentioned?

The only video streaming service on 3DS is YouTube, but if you look at what I said in my previous post.

But well let's be honest, I'd rather have a PSVita app then a 3DS app due 2 the fact that the PSvita's OLED screen is so freaking good!

I would expect differences due to the region, but in the US, Netflix and Hulu Plus are definitely on the 3DS. Their eShop site doesn't show any other video applications here.

If the app was really coming to the vita, maybe it would come in July making the app a year in the making?
