If a Bullmastiff or St. Bernard ever went hungry you'd bet your ass they'll try and make a meal out of you.

What?! NO.
I for one would never eat a dog. ever. I see them as a family member, best friend. I guess we all have our own different perspective.

I vote that all life is equally the same, so everything can be eaten. Not that I'll ever eat it, but if you want to go head. Just because dogs are seen as pets why do they get special treatment. I know plenty of people that love their pet chickens, but we still eat them.

Dem double standards. #ChickenLivesMatter

I mean to my knowledge they're not in any way endangered. I think killing someone's dog for food deserves repercussions in all, but I have no idea why it even is illegal in the first place (to use dog meat).

It's a pretty blatant double standard that we eat pigs and cows but not animals that are considered to be more close to home.

In some cases I think it should be illegal not to eat canine. All of those people that hunt coyote and wolf just for the pelts and leave the carcasses behind really piss me off. I would never eat dog, but I don't think it should be illegal--to each their own.

As long as people know they're eating dogs, then fine why not? I'd hate to eat dog though so I'd be pissed off if it became legal but they were lying and passing it off as beef.

Hell no! also, get the hell out of here! and dogs are man's best friend. My dog was a baby 5 years (also born in the year of the tiger) back and she means a lot to me. If I want last resort food, then I would rather eat earthworms from a bucket of flour.

Rude much? The question asks if eating dogs should be legal, which it is in 44 states. http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news/man-bites-dog-its-legal-to-eat-dogs-and-cats-in-44-states-101714.html
