I always feel like I prefer series where the authors take their time to introduce the characters, build the world and then move up the plot. This definitely fits that criteria.

Chapter 50 ended with a cliffhanger, that caught my interest. Even though the cliffhanger could've been a lot better, if we saw what happened instead of just telling us that something has happened. I just hope that Kitora wasn't beaten that badly.

Its sad how no one reads this! I think if things continue like they do in another 2 years we might get an anime out of this.

I was hoping someone would make a forum on this. I just saw the color spread for the next issue and it makes me realize how much I love this series.

You probably know this have there been any other sci fi manga in jump.

I've been reading this for a while since I was lucky enough to start my WSJ subscription at about the same time World Trigger joined the lineup. It was absolutely the characters and building their relationship early on that got me hooked--and it's one of the series I always read (and there's lots of WSJ series that I just skip right over). Now we've got as forefront the kind of action that was in the background earlier, and I'm still interested--but without that initial time spent on the characters and learning new things about them, I don't think I would be. I do hope we won't get so caught up in action though that they won't continue developing and revealing characters!

Hmm let me see what I can remember off the top of my head. Some might consider Fist of the North Star to be Sci-fi.

Level E, Psyren, DNA², To Love-Ru, ST&RS, and Barrage. I'm pretty sure there are many more, but those are the ones I remember.

I'm not sure if you would count Gintama and Assassination Classroom as sci-fi, but they have some sci-fi elements

well I have been reading the manga since the anime is really slow and then when I checked the manga , the manga is also very slow

Anyway , I do like the character development but this one has taken it the really the long way. I havent read all of it but I like the cute moments written for Chika.

In Chapter 34
During the entrant exam/training at the headquarter sniper part was pretty funny. All the entrant has to snipe a big target with Ibis , and Chika is trained to hit smaller and farther target and then run and reposition after firing once... , then during the exam , I understood she unconsciously adjusted her bullet to the size of the target which in turn blew a wall in the building

I love Chika's character.
However her introduction as the third main character was the weakenss . It would have been better if Chika's character was really introduced more fully during the big problem at the begining where the neighbor were popping up everywhere since she attracts the neighbor as well becuase of her trion level. It would have worked during that time, instead the author solved that problem and then introduced Chika more with the bicycle moments + the neighbor at the restricted zone

On the bright side, there all line up for the Chika cannon.

Forgot this had a thread, I’ve been using the weekly rankings as the wt thread.

I'm not too optimistic about it. Tamakoma-2 will lose and will have to try again..
