Alright! Shitsumon no jikan da!

Heh. I wonder how many of you had to search for a translation to that. Anyways, side tracking aside, I have a question. If someone were to publish a news etter that contains great short stories compiled every, say, month or week or so, and then send it to you, would you subscribe? By subscribe, I mean tell the person doing this your email address so they can send it free of charge.

Free of charge.

Bloody misers.

Well, it would depend on the type of story. I tend to be pretty open, but if it was porn, gore, or something really horrifying, I probably wouldn't jump at the opportunity. I'd at least respect that they wanted to do something nice for me, if they really wanted to give me a good experience, and in my book, free is usually a good thing. I'm into writing a bit myself, so I could see why that person would want to make quite a few stories. In regards to how often I'd want them... oh, I'd say about every month or so. I'd also want the short stories to be made by the compiler him/herself.

As a lit scholar, yes, I probably would, though I'd do some research on them first to make sure I'm not handing my email out to potentially dangerous parties. Assuming they seemed legit enough, this would actually be a great thing for me, seeing as while I love to read, I normally don't go out of my way to look for things to read. This kind of periodical anthology would save me the effort of looking for stories, and give me a reason to get back into a hobby that I've sadly started to neglect in favour of others.

Ah, no. Not erotica, no worries. As for the compiler, that would be me. I don't know how I'd feel about such shameless self promotion. Probably just stick to maybe one story from me, the rest from others.

Me? Potentially dangerous? No way.

Oh, no. I didn't mean shameless self-promoting, and I'm sorry if that was what I implied. What I meant was, I would want stories in the compilation that had prior permission from the people that made them. And I realize that that probably makes it sound like I think you're untrustworthy, but that's not it. I just didn't know if this was a multi-person thing. Again, I'm sorry. Hope I wasn't implying that you were some sort of plug-loving person.

Anyways, hope you check the forums again, since I really don't know how to notify you that I responded.

Well, now I feel like an idiot. Thanks (No sarcasm intended). Seriously, how did I miss that all this time? And here I was doing it manually.
