I am trying to watch Episode 3 of Problem Children (found here - http://www.crunchyroll.com/problem-children-are-coming-from-another-world-arent-they/episode-3-sounds-like-were-doing-all-sorts-of-stuff-in-the-bath-together-617935)

I get to 30 seconds, and then if the player is on autoplay it skips ahead to the next ep, and if not it just stops dead.

I have tried clearing my browser, my history, my flash, ect. Also, Ep 4 has no such issues nor do Ep 1 and 2.

Is Ep 3 just messed up somehow?

This is a recurring problem that has affected many users (including myself). There's nothing wrong with the episode (though you'll probably get someone in here trying to say there is). I also had a similar problem where it would completely end at a certain mark and not progress any further than that specific second. So I waited several hours and it finally started to work again. This is a CR issue. Updates towards these problems (i.e stuttering, freezing, episode skipping/stopping, etc.) are supposed to be implemented at the end of Q1 (essentially the end of March) and are supposed to fix these issues. Keep your fingers crossed! Though for now, try changing your resolution to temporarily fix it. Someone said that fixes the issue. If it doesn't, then you're just going to have to wait.

Well, that's interesting... I can play SD, 720p, and 1080p no problem (no stuttering either) in Chrome, but 480p won't even start at all for me. Could just be an encoding problem for that resolution.

Though if it was an encoding problem, it wouldn't work at all for that resolution, yes? For my past, tens if not over a hundred experiences with this BS have been resolved by simply waiting it out. These episode skipping/stopping issues have been going on for too long now.

480 was what I was using cause its good enough. Trying 720p now...and it works. WTF is wrong with 480 then.

I mean, it could be an encoding problem....for now. But watch, return later (wait it out a few hours or longer) then come back and try it again. I guarantee it'll start working again on 480P by tomorrow.

I know very little about the technical end of this stuff, but I think the different resolutions have different encodes. There was another episode of something here where this seemed to be the case--worked at one resolution but not another. (I've actually run into it more on Funi, when selecting between SD and HD on Roku).
