No, the term webcomics is a generic term that refers to any comic in any language that is primarily published on the net. Scanilations do not count as webcomics. Manhwa is the Korean equivalent of manga.

I am a huge webcomics fan. Has anyone ever tried out Hive Works webcomics. It's a sort of club that includes a lot of great webcomics like Paranatural, Spinnerette, and No Need for Bushido.
