I don't have a list, i just try to memorize which series I've watched.

roughly around 65.

I think im going to start using a list, that took way to long to remember. I'm having to remember back to the mid 90s.

I have no idea. All I know is that I've been into it for years and years as a regular consumer.

The way I count, I have seen 96 series and 19 movies (with the movies list excluding movies that were a part of a series)

For my 100th I'm either going for NGE of FMA:B...

I have a rule, you see.

If someone talks about the series I've seen, but I don't remember, the show was not worth remembering or listing.

Lists are for punks, fools, and shopping! They are not for Movies, T.V. shows, or Anime!

If the show did not impact me, I wouldn't dare suggest it to someone else! And why remember such a show? Why count down, write down, and waste memory space for such garbage?

I find no weight in the number of anime one watches! Only in the number of references one can use!
I have to wonder how many you've watched when you have that rule. While that was fine in the beginning after a while to me it wasn't easy just to remember the ones i liked. Not to mention forgetting the name of an anime which could be confusing especially if it's in romaji, you'd have to go to some site just to remember it anyways. Same with info about an anime, wanting to know how many episodes it has, who made it, when it aired, etc you'd have to go to a site too. Using recommendation programs, letting someone see which anime you have watched and what you generally thought about it for fun or if they're recommending something(wouldn't be good if they only mentioned ones that you've only seen and possibly disliked), keeping notes about the anime about when you watched it, what you thought of it, certain scenes, songs, etc from an anime you might want to remember. Keeping track of airing anime, especially if you go on a break or hiatus it would be nice to know which episode you were on and as you might have just started watching them it would be harder to remember them. There are all sorts of little specials, ovas, and movies connected to an anime. Anime that come out randomly over a long amount of time. Shorts which may be harder to remember because of their size.

And how much impact? Like out of a score of 10, which scores would you think would have an impact? People don't only want suggestions about shows you liked, they sometimes want them for specific purposes. Sports, super powers, romance, etc. In that case it doesn't need as much impact from you and it may be hard just to remember those throughout the ones you've watched.

OT: Yeah I do, I have a Myanimelist account[http://myanimelist.net/profile/IntroverTurtle]. And according to it I've watched 1,600 anime.

Well when I first started watching Anime I didn't think to do it. I was still discovering my tastes and likes so I did not watch many of the Anime I started very far into the series. What do we classify as watched?

Sometimes I wished I did just so I could see what I have watched and go back to them. You see I have a bad habit. If things get really intense, but things aren't going well, I tend to stop watching it. I chicken out really. I know the show will be great after I get through the block, but that has not stopped me from dropping many a shows. I'll really only go back to them if I was deep into the show and adore it.

I wish I knew all that I watched so I can make it through the blocks and really enjoy the full show. I am trying to break that habit though!

Sorry for the hackney response. My Pc has died, and I use a kindle to post now. My glorious 124gwpm typing speed is reduceed to about 20.

Just as I don't remember a bad show, I don't forget a good oñe.

A score does not measure impact. Queens blade is horrible as a show, but that show is hard go forget.

Then you have plenty if pandering ecchi shows like ikki tousen and papilion rose. Shows which do not tell stories. I would be more inclined to list off porn titles.

This is not limited to basic ecchi! How and why should I remember or recommend bad harems or reverse harems?
Ive seen Oran and Free. I'm a fan of Ranma 1/2. Ive watchdd Fruits Baskets and black butler.
Why waste peoples time a d bring up Aesthetica, Demon KingDaimeo., or musical reverse harem generic?

Shows are like books. You forget the bad zmdnnevver shut up about the good.

Ive got a good know who on the various studios. If its kyoani or madhouse, trigger or 4c, gonzo or gainax, sunrise or toei, bones of brainbase, whitefox or sstkigh.

Battery dying. I leavecomment here.

I just started one recently. It's on a spread sheet. Actually, it's more of a list for any kind of animation I'm watching.

How many anime have you watched? How many good ones?(you should be able to tell me that as you remember all of them)

So you'd recommend anime you think are horrible just as long as they have impact? And you don't think an anime you would rate as 9/10 or great wouldn't impact you?

Because that's what they want to watch. You bring up a musical reverse harem when they want one. What you like may not be what they like. And if they had a list then you could look at theirs and see if they like that sort of anime. That would be much better than just going off the ones you like regardless of their taste.

Like I said, that only works for so long. I can't remember all the titles of good books I once read years ago, nor can I remember the same about the anime I've watched after a couple of hundred watched.

On all of the anime you've ever watched? And only those studios? And what about airing dates, how many episodes(specials, ovas, etc), etc too?

What about letting others see what anime you have watched?(for recommendations or other reasons) Anime names?(never forgot one, even just how it's spelled?) You've never wanted to keep any info about an anime?(a filler list, memorable quotes, things that happened in the anime that you didn't want to forget, etc) Keeping track of airing anime? Or OVAs?
