The first episode was good, but unless it gets better in the next few episodes I don't really get all the hype... The animation and voice acting are great, the fight scenes were also great, but i'm not really liking the story all that much. The pacing is also a little weird, IMO. My biggest problem is the lolis who are humanity's last hope. I don't see why they couldn't have made them a few years older. Maybe its just that lolis have always annoyed me...

I also don't get why everyone is getting Attack on Titan vibes off of this. Sure, there are some similarities, but not many. The monsters are huge, but they're not humanoid. The pillars remind me of AoT, as does the fact that the Cursed Children have Gastrea in them, but that is pretty much it.

These are only my first impressions of the series, and they will probably change after a few more episodes. I think this will be a pretty good show, but nothing amazing.

The "Gastrea" came out 10 years ago and infected humans, turning them into monsters. They also infected pregnant women, and all their children were always female. Those are the super lolis, because the oldest one is probably 10 years old. Also, your job in life is to love all women, regardless of size. Shame on you sir.

Good start here, felt like it was going kind of fast in parts, but that's not a big deal. I'll watch more of it. Lots of good shows this season so far, I just hope they can keep going strong past the first episode.

I could care less about the size, but I hate the way lolis usually act. They're annoying and completely unrealistic. Its hard to take a show seriously when lolis who usually act very childish are fighting giant monsters.

For the record, a plot point cannot be its own validation. It's fiction, they could've made up anything they wanted. They could easily have said "And now it's 15 years later" since they already arbitrarily waited 10. Enju wanting to fulfill the biological imperative before she's even hit puberty is equally arbitrary, although as long as it stays as jazz-hands comedy I don't care much. But in either case Enju is a perverted super human loli because her creator desired it... that's about it.

Edit: This apparently came across as antagonistic or something? It's not intended to be.

(Took out the bit on circular logic since the logic doesn't actually circle.)

Sorry that wasn't the point of my post. They won't remain lolis forever. They are "normal" humans. Probably there are infant superhumans also. The oldest ones happen to be "loli" age I suppose. The virus technically doesn't mass manufacture lolis >_>. Probably. But the poster I replied to was complaining about how the archtype loli usually acts, and I pointed out how this particular character doesn't act that way. Yet. Does she?

OH. I misinterpreted. I thought he was being noncommittal about Enju being a perverted elementary schooler, and that you were defending her age with a plot point. Which is a fallacy I keep seeing cropping up on occasion.

So I was all like:

In terms of archetypical lolis I don't pay enough attention.

How'd you get it to not glitch out? Cause I tried using it back when I first made that post, even greatly reduced its size, and every single time I uploaded it it would glitch out.

I fixed the gif so that it doesn't glitch.

Your problem stems from the phrase love. If you think love always equals sex, I'm afraid I've got some bad news for you. You "love" your family right? You can "love" friends, and not in a romantic way. My lesson to you is to learn to love women. You don't have to like all of them, but you can still love them.

Aaaanyways, I'll probably keep watching until the end. Like I always do.

It was just a jest. That line sounded so much like something a serial rapist would say, I couldn't resist.
