I'm a vegetarian, so no meat, no fish, no animals at all. I also don't drink milk because I just find it really disgusting. I take a multivitamin daily, and drinks loads of water. I would have a pretty healthy diet if it wasn't for the fact that I am constantly eating candy and cake :/

Wouldn't that technically make you a vegan, and not a vegetarian? My understanding is that vegans have no meat whatsoever, be it an egg, steak, chops, etc.

Vegetarians, as I understand it, are acceptable to things like eggs and even fish, in some cases. I'm not trying to be a *ick here, I'm just pointing some things out.

I eat eggs though, so I'm a vegetarian :P

Eh, no worries. I try to do my best, as a Shintoist and Buddhist. It's tough to avoid eggs and meat in our society. I try to eat as much tofu and seitan as I can. But sometimes, ramen with an egg is just what I needed.

Oh yeah of course. Especially the ones in season. That's also when they are the most tasty. I think its still pineapple season.
I've been mostly eating pineapples for over a month now lol

I used to eat junk and weigh 300lbs. But then I had digestion issue which gave me nausea most of the day every day for 2 years. That caused me to drop some weight and re-evaluate my eating habits. Unfortunately when always feeling about to barf you don't feel like eating much so I had issues for awhile. Eventually ran across a strong balanced probiotic that actually did something which helped my issues. About a year later I found ginseng [in the proper purity and dosage] worked wonders on the rest of my issue.

So now I take a probiotic, ginseng complex, and multi-vitamin supplement. Drink water 90% of the time and the rest is milk or the random sip of some other thing, oh and my 1 cup of coffee in the morning. Food wise I keep to around 1700 calories a day and limit fats, sugars, and sodium. According to myfitnesspal tracking I'm doing what I'm supposed to anyway. I do know I could be eating more veggies though.

Oh and 130lbs later I now weigh in at 170lbs ;-)

I eat a lot of meat and drink a lot of tea. I don't take any vitamins or supplements...perhaps I should but they're so expensive these days because everyone's gone nuts over being healthy. It's silly money.

I have Celiac disease, so I'm generally low carb, except now they make so many delicious gluten free snacks that it's hard not to EAT ALL THE COOKIES.

How did you first find out that you had celiac disease?

About 3 years ago, I started reacting to corn products, turned out to be a cross reaction. I went gluten and corn free for a few months and then reintroduced the corn while remaining gluten free. After about 6 months gluten-free I noticed things that used to be problems for me were going away, like I used to get headaches/migraines almost every day, now I only get them every once in a while.

Ah, I see. Apparently, celiac disease runs in my family so I need to get checked. I don't eat gluten though, but I've noticed that when I eat a decent quantity of it, my stomach hurts. So I may as well avoid it.

I'm allergic to sunlight so I take a double dose of vitamin D every day. I always wear a copious amount of sunscreen now so it's not as though exposure would help, anyway. Also, I hate the sun so I don't want to be in the light.

I also take calcium and zinc supplements since I drink lots of caffeine and it can negatively affect the strength of my bones. I'll take other random multivitamins once every other day or so.

Diet? I eat a lot of raw foods. It just feels better to eat raw meat and fruit and veggies. If I have to cook something, I'll never overcook. I will cook it just enough to kill the germs. My diet is heavy on raw fish, raw eggs, and undercooked or raw meat. I don't eat too many carbs compared to the average person. I try to omit added sugars entirely. Onion, garlic, raw baby carrots, and watermelon are often consumed as well. For leafy greens, I prefer raw baby spinach. Everything else is just Japanese food.

I try not to overeat, so I drink plenty of ice water and get about 1600 calories a day now.

Hey, congrats, man. Glad you're doing better with diet. I wish I could have done that, I just love food too much. I took the nuclear option. I'm much healthier now, but it's a heavy price to pay.

Thanks :-). I tried doctors at first but a few thousand dollars later I still had no answer to what my issue was. I basically paid for things such as an upper-endoscopy for no reason in the end. Glad they worked something out for you though!
