I can agree with pretty much all of these, but what about refrain? all of it, or just the original? cuz while the original did seem pretty bland, refrain actually did grab me a bit
True dat, and to be honest the Saigusa arc was pretty good too. Little Busters!, Refrain included, had huge issues but Refrain was definitely better. Sorry, if I left that unclear.

I actually dunno why Monster failed to entertain me, as it's one of the highest rated anime in MAL (Gintama likewise).

Edit: Maybe it'd be more fair to ask 'why did I fail to be entertained', but that's not as easily answered.

So the thing that has been bothering me is what is the plural form of anime? I've always assumed that if there is more than one anime, its still called anime and not animes. Same with manga, I don't add the "s" for plural.

It might just be me though.

no your right, the Japanese don't recognize the idea of plural vs. singular

As someone who is very new to anime: All the shows like ''the big three'' feel like they would be a huge waste of time for me.
Why would i watch 200-400 episode's with entire filler arcs when i could spend all that time watching the massive amount of 13-25 episode anime out there?

One Piece feels like a waste of time to me. I only managed to get a little over 100 episodes in but it just never improved and kept plodding along doing the same boring crap every episode. I don't understand how people think it's anime Jesus, it's been explained to me countless times that it's "amazing" and "epic" but I just am not seeing it. I tried, I really really did

Majority of Moe series and modern anime.

Here's looking at you Anohana, CLANNAD, Angel Beats, Toradora...And the one that truly wasted my time - SCHOOL DAYS!!!!!!!

Don't watch Evangelion Death and Rebirth. Ugh.

Why did you watch them if they were wasting your time?

I wanted to see if they improved, and I kept going on and on until I reached the end. And nothing improved. But in saying that, CLANNAD After Story was a vast improvement over the first though I can't say I loved it.

Uugh, Clannad. Biggest waste of my time! The show was so boring and generic I sat through the whole series yawning. I really don't understand how this mediocre tripe became so highly acclaimed...

Which are some animes you've watched that you felt was the biggest waste of time ever! I'll start

1. Kill La Kill - dropped it at episode 10ish the plot is linear, There isn't much space for character development due to because their characters like the protagonist is pretty much a set in stone kind of thing, it's predictable how the ending will conclude.

2. Danganronpa - wtf is this

3. Log Horizon - as the story progress(around ep 10) it pretty much just turned from main plot to very filler plots. Like the whole episode about this magician dude talking about different magics. Feels like they are elaborating too much.

Kill la Kill - Yo opinion, can't hate it. But it gets quite a bit better at episode 11 and on. So you dropped it an episode too early in my opinion.

Danganronpa - It's based on a visual novel video game for the PS Vita. So quite frankly, it is a linear story but in the video game it is fun. Either or, I enjoyed it much. Pink blood everywhere.

Log Horizon - . . . Words can't express. . Well perhaps you watched the anime expecting a .Hack/SOA style of anime. If you watched Maoyu or Spice and Wolf, I believe you'd understand it and like it better. Basically its an anime that actually tells you about the economics and how the world works basically, in an entertaining manner. I like it personally, different from the norm and makes sense.

*Note* Regarding weither or not you be trolling, these are my responses!

What is with you people, Clannad, Naruto, Gintama? Boo hoo, I don't like your developing romance, shonen action, and hilarious comedy, you are a waste of time. You people don't know the meaning of waste of time.

Sit through this, even just one episode, I dare you!

Then tell me Clannad was boring. You won't be able to, because your brain won't work properly anymore. This show has nothing. It might as well have been an art book, and not a pornographic one either, a PG one , at best.

Or how about Amnesia? It's not as bad as your suggestion, but it's pretty horrible just the same.

I watched an episode or two of the but I don't remember much about it. That joke was not intentional. I generally am not a big fan of romance focused shoujo stuff though. Arakawa Under the Bridge, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge, and Ouran Host Club, those more comedic ones I tend to like though.
