I was pleasantly surprised by this. So far, everything I've checked out for this Spring season hasn't Wow'd me.
I wouldn't say The Kawai Complex wow'd me either but at least it managed to keep my attention (once he moved
into the complex). Grandma and his roommate crack me up, something tells me the show will get better as more
hilarity ensues.

It quickly jumped to the top of my roster...but then I watched Brynhildr in the Darkness and that trumped this (IMO).

Rit-chan has gorgeous eyes and watching this on my iPhone the animation was incredible. Looks to be a lot of fun.

Episode 1

Kazunari Usa, a fairly average first year high school student, starts life on his own after his parents have to move due to work. He expects to have a peaceful life by himself in his new apartment. However, he quickly discovers that is not going to be the case. Usa has a roommate named Shirosaki, who is kind of a pedo and also a masochist. Usa has a hard time accepting his new place at first, but warms up to it fairly quickly.

While Usa was at school he "met" Ritsu Kawai, who he deemed to be his ideal girl, and fell for her right away. Upon arriving at his new residence he soon discovers that this very girl lives there as well. She basically becomes his reason for staying there.

There are a few other people that live in his building as well. He begins his new life.

Excited to see how the story plays out.

Just finished watching it, and I was trying not to laugh so much that I was crying instead (it's 3am here) xD

At first I was like, this show is beautiful! I love the art style... I'll watch it even if the story sucks. Half way through I was grinning like an idiot at the comedy.

Sumiko-san if awesome, I wish she was my grandma.

I just like this anime because!

1. The animation is very nice IMO

2. Lots of laughs!

3 EP 2 had a retro feel with the bubbles and Horror film night!

4. But most important each character is unique and all play a role in this anime!

You can find the episode... elsewhere... and plenty of people, unfortunately, don't like to wait for legal means of watching.

OooooH. I only go to the darkside for stuff not legal anywhere.

Gotcha though. Sorry.

With how much I watch per season from FUNi and CR now... I don't even do that anymore lol.

Unless it is a series I really want to watch for some reason. Like Zero's Familiar... I need some Nostalgia feels and the final season that CR has isn't enough.

I warranted the FUNi cost to myself by the fact on the Roku it has a better quality than CR. (Though on my 50" or whatever HDTV it's barely noticeable sometimes, only time I noticed was comparing Fairy Tail from CR and FUNi with the first episode) That and there is still quite a bit on their catalog that I want to watch, and... well i'm a giant pervert and they generally don't have censored stuff in the cataloged stuff.

If it wasn't for the Roku and CR Manga, I could essentially be saving myself like $10-12 a month. But I like my entertainment due to being home all day, every day.
