One my friend(I'm almost anti social) but yea this friend and his friend had to bother me asked me to go and have AYCE sushi. So I said okay so like 20 minutes before we were finishing up my friend's friend pointed out at the 15ish napkins I used. He pointed and said "Do you have any problem"

I don't feel shamed... should I be? At home I use too much tissues too.

You should be more ashamed of your grammar and punctuation skills than anything else.

Just set the container of hand sanitizer right on the table like I do. No shame.

Dear OP,

I will admit that I am drunk. But since someone else pointed it out, I feel I cannot be the only one who may struggle to comprehend this post. I mean no disrespect, but I am going to take a stab at this:

"One of my friends invited me out for AYCE Sushi. I am a bit anti-social, but I accepted the invitation anyway. 20 minutes before we were finishing up, my friend's friend mentioned the 15 napkins I had used and said, "Do you have a problem?"

I do not feel ashamed...Should I? I also use too many tissues at home."

Am I close? Way off? Spot on? Also, what is Ayce Sushi? A restaurant?

In response to your topic, I have to ask why you used all those napkins. Was it the raw fish, or is this just a habit you have adopted? If it is the latter, you should work on using less napkins. One or two napkins are sufficient for most meals. Fantastic baby back ribs on the other hand may require a large supply of paper towels, not napkins. However, if you were using tons of napkins because you were handling raw fish, then you should work on overcoming those germaphobic tendencies.

In Japan they supply sanitary wipes to clean your hands. This is often done prior to any meals and they are also a common household item. I suspect this is what OP is referring to.

I am not sure how many would be considered shameful, but 15 does certainly sound excessive.

I totally do this. Mostly because I'm lazy and if I can make one trip instead of two, I'll take the one trip option. I should probably just take a couple of napkins instead of a handful though. I know for sure I wont use a handful of napkins to eat one burger... the sad thing is, I throw the un-used napkins along with my garbage.

I'm killing our planet one napkin at a time.

Based on the title, I thought this forum post would be about something else entirely.

Hmm. Thank you for expanding on that acronym Kaldar5. I had never heard it before.

Maybe I value sushi more than most, but all you can eat should be reserved for crappy China buffets, makeshift BBQ joints and tasteless "country style" buffets. Quality food, especially sushi, should never be served in an all you can eat buffet. I wouldn't even consider that crap sushi at that point.

It's extremely popular and cheap where I'm from. If you ever come by here check out these places.

http://www3.telus.net/ninkazu/(this one I frequent because lunch is only $10.95 CAD, I only go there to eat masago sushi like 40 of them then leave)

Man, I remember when Japanese Sushi restaurants I went to would give each person a steaming, rolled-up hand towel before and after the meal. It was the most comfortable hand-wipes I've used. lol

But yes, I would say 15 may be just a tad bit excessive. Unless you were sweating like a waterfall from the wasabi or a messy eater, it is a bit wasteful especially for eating sushi.
