Tonari no Seki-kun has one hell of an amazing run

Kill la Kill's second half is shaping up better and better.

and Nobunagun has made quite the impression! The story and writing fall more in line with Western Cartoons than the usual Anime, AND THAT IS AN AMAZING AND WONDERFUL THING.

I'm curious how many people are watching Noragami, but didn't put it in their top three.

Just since it's not here on CR, I'm wondering if the people who aren't listing it also haven't seen it.

Thats my case. But I've looked it up now that so many people listed it.

I for one am watching it but don't care for it anymore. Way too much pandering on one childish character. I don't see anything special about it but to each his own.

I just watched the ten episodes out for Noragami. Great show, really feeling annoyed that the last episodes aren't out now. Hate waiting.

But glad I caught something that went under my radar.

Now I need to find something to watch to fill this empty void of no more Noragami to watch.

From just this season:

3. Nisekoi - The plot is fairly typical for a haremesque rom-com, but the animation makes this one a treat to watch.
2. Engaged to the Unidentified - Mostly because I really like the main couple, but the side characters are good comic relief too.
1. Tonari no Seki-kun - My favorite this season is a short; go figure. I love the wacky creativity that goes into this anime; it's the only one that I have to watch ASAP every week.

As for carry-over two-cours, I really like Golden Time and Kill la Kill, and Samurai Flamenco is cheesy in the best kind of way. I'm waiting for Nagi no Asukara to finish so I can marathon it.

1: World Conquest Zvezda Plot. One of my all-time favourites. There's only one thing I dislike about it, and that's the OP, so it doesn't really count.

2: Log Horizon. Even though it's set in a RPG-style fantasy world, the fighting isn't the focus. Rather, it focuses on worldbuilding, politics, and most of all, tactics. The characters have a tendency to plan things out and win fights using their brains rather than just charging in and relying on willpower. There are battles and fighting, but that's more of a setting than the driving force of the story. It also has just enough comical idiocy to stop the Intellectual depth from becoming overwhelming.

3: Witch Craft Works. Not one my favourites for the story, but for its production quality. So much attention to detail, and so well animated.

My top 3 for the winter 2014 season are pretty simple.

1. Witch Craft Works (love JC Staff's work)
2. Nisekoi
3. Pilot's Love Song

I'm also really enjoying Kill la Kill and Log Horizon, among some others, but these three specifically starting in the winter season stood out to me.
