Can we please not have a third anime I'm watching have a strange brother/sister thing happening?

I didnt get that feeling at all from these two.

Akari does seem to have a thing for her brother...
It's only been two episodes. Anyway, unless another girl shows up to fulfill the romance tag who does Toru end up with, Chaika?

She respects her brother, I have not seen her 'have a thing' for him though.

There hasn't been enough signs in two episodes of anything deeper than respect or anything other than brother and sister.

Where have they said they aren't bio-siblings anyway?

It says in the OP's comment that they are adopted siblings.
I saw some jealousy toward Chaika
This is all just speculation right now.

Its in the show info, I just didn't see it sorry. They are adopted.

Still I really haven't seen signs of that, and I don't want it to happen really.

We'll see I guess.

Also I don't mind spoilers. lol If a LN/manga say they are, I don't mind knowing beforehand.

I didn't realize they put it there either. Sorry, my last two posts were all over the place. I'm jumping ahead here, way ahead, but I've kind of been on anime romance withdrawal. I was hoping someone could spoil the romance for me, It's just usually when a show goes out of it's way to point out that they are non-biological siblings or there is a chance they may not be, they become the main couple. Also, Akari doesn't come across as the type to be all blushey and shy to make it obvious. Anyway, I'll just go read the manga and be quiet for now.

Well I kind of hope they don't go that route, but we'll see.

No problem though, people disagree sometimes.

Episode 3

Hauling that coffin around makes this whole act much tougher to pull off that it already is. But they are lucky that there is someone there who can get them out of town, though that means having to go through the forest and a bunch of electric wolves. Toru looked like dead meat there until that woman showed up. That's an alright episode here as things are moving forward here with the main trio being on the run and everything. But I don't exactly have high interest in everything that's going on.

IMO, this anime doesn't really NEED a romance. can't it just be a nice fantasy adventure? this show already reminds me a lot of Scrapped Princess (written by the same author), and that one didn't need a romance so I'm hoping this show will go the same route.

Episode 3

Dragoon cavaliers huh?

Anyways, the episode was okay but it skipped some parts of the manga. I think they might anime it later although it's not that important imo. Those beasts sure are ferocious though. And at the same time, a question is raised if the King has a daughter.

Literally what I was thinking...due to the way the first episode started as she was in the middle of no where as if looking she has just been dropped into the world. Also to add with the multiple Chaika's guessing Gaz's followers are trying to disarray the government to keep her safe until she comes back into power?...lol Btw it cant really be black and white, Heroes bad Gaz good, more than likely both parties have gotten their hands dirty.

I am sad they didn't show the other multiple Chaika's though as a flash back, would have loved to see so many cute things as they fight being taken into custody xD

Kind of reminding me of :

Except with more moe. Good show though, very interesting.

This is not a complaint about the show, but does anyone else feel like moe has just completely taken over anime? I mean there are a dozen shows out there that I can pretty much say, kind of reminds me of... just with more moe.

I'm a hopeless romantic, the desire happens lol... I also really enjoy step/adopted sibling romance which is rare so I always look for it.

If that is the case then his writing has gotten more otaku-ish. I am kind of disappointed really. It's a great story and all, just sad that he went the trope character idiosyncrasy path. From what I remember the characters in Scrapped Princess acted rather normally with subtle character traits.

I think I am getting so irritable because I see this happening everywhere. It's like hey you know what, this would be better if you used more subtlety. It appears that there are editors out there saying, be less subtle, the kids won't get this.
